My Finished Cabinet

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you my finished cabinet. I spend a SHEEIITLOAD of time on this thing, and I changed my mind about seventy times a minute the whole way. It's sitting at 84 degrees in a practically unventilated room.

Let me know what you think. I'm pretty stoked about it!

It started out with just the base cabinet, but according to California Lightworks my light was way too low, and would risk damaging my plants. So, I had to figure out a method to raise my fixture. Here's what I decided on. Please don't hesitate to offer suggestions. Enjoy.

Here's the finished product.

Here's a little more detail.

Mounted top tote (interior)

Finished interior

Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks! Unfortunately, bagseed. I don't have access to anything else. As a matter of fact, I haven't had weed in almost 4 months. It's bone dry out here where I live. I'm lucky to even have seed. I'd like to order some auto's, but I'm a little paranoid about doing so. :/

Thanks for the help offer. I'll need it for sure coming up. I'll definitely check out your grow!

Bag seed is just fine! My grow is bag seed (i know what strains they are though), you can get some dank buds from mids seeds too, good genes are good to have but they don't really matter usually for newer growers, you don't wanna spend a lot of money on seeds for your first grow. And no need to be paranoid when ordering seeds, just get them from a legit discreet source, sea of seeds is where most of my buddies order from and is highly recommended on this site! And thanks, i need some more followers on my grow, currently i only have a few and i'm already in week 1 of flowering haha!

I recommend you put another PC fan on top of that Tote lid.The Light has a Fan on the back, that pushes all the heat up. Since heat rises, it's being trapped in that area with the light and could over heat it..

Not a bad idea. Do you think I need it even with temps at 80-84? I don't want smell to escape out of the top.

you can go to lowes and buy a carbon filter replacement. they have smaller ones like 6x8 the you cant metal tape over the out going air. it helps and its not bulky.

Looking good, I am on my 2nd order from SOS.
We're you freaked out at all the first time? It seems completely undetectable and safe. The fact that they use third party billers and can't be touched by the US government makes me feel safer doing it, if not completely safe.

I'm still mulling it over. Discussing it with the wife. It's not something to take lightly.

Thanks.

What do you think about placing a couple of ONA blocks in the top part to control odor escaping? My exhaust fan is rated at 200cfm. The PC fan I have is only rated at 20.

Do you even think odor will be an issue since all of the plant smell will probably exhaust out the main exhaust? I will have a Phresh filter on the other end.

Ona blocks don't work for that long.

go to a fish store and buy active carbon. Put it in a pantyhose and strap it around your fan..

Done. And you have a strong enough fan that you could actually do that with lol

I guess I'm just wondering if I even need carbon filtration on that 20 cfm fan. The lower, 200 cfm fan is filtering the cab air 33 times every minute. I would assume that most of the air is exhausting from there. I would place a really small fan on the top just to vent the light fixture. Do you think odor would reach that high considering my exhaust fan that is 10 times more powerful?

Thanks.

Alright. I decided to stop screwin around. I removed my exhaust hose from the original position and relocated it to the top of my tote. Now the exhaust is going right out the top. and temperatures are way down on top.

Thanks for all the advice.
