Just did that.Pretty cool. You might want to lift the reservoir and then put a piece of tin foil over the blue light that shines in the tank.
An ultrasonic cleaner would produce heat but cool mist humidifiers use lower power ultrasonic drivers to generate mist, too.It's prone to failure. The ultrasonic creates a ton of heat, which is no bueno!
