About mapping it out with a cheap lux meter, any brand or 1 in particular you advise?
I can't recall the name of the meter that I've seen recommended here most often, but I know @Randomblame has suggested a $15 eBay meter a few times (perhaps he can provide a link?). Alternatively, Amazon has a wide selection at various price points. Some have detachable sensors for more flexibility in taking measurements, but I expect anything that goes to 100,000 lux will do (unless it has consistently abysmal reviews). I think mine is the Leaton brand.

Just recently harvested Tent 1. It was a great run until I had a dehumidifier issue and lost a good portion of the harvest to budrot! Got that shit sorted and looking forward to moving the next batch of plants in from the veg space as soon as the last of the good stuff is done drying and out of the tent. Tent 2 is in a holding pattern at the moment, until I decide what new beans I'm going to pop - planning to do that run under the 120s from germination to harvest. I usually germinate under CFL in a separate area, then move to another small veg area under a single QB288, and then move into one of the tents and under the 120s; I figured I might as well see how it goes under the 120s from cradle to grave.

I'm using this one, pretty cheap and it can measure up to 200klx. It says high precise but I've done PAR measurings (my friend has a PAR meter) and the converted numbers from lux were ~10-15% lower than the actual PAR readings.
Since then I add 10% in addition to the converted numbers to get closer to the actual values.
But that only applies to this device and even an identical could spit out different numbers! The thing is a cheap one...

Would you still reccomend your setup and if so would you suggest any small changes. I have been reading a lot and I think I would be able to do everything I need to with your design. But before I start ordering things I would like to know your thoughts.

I would absolutely recommend my setup. I liked it well enough to build a second, identical fixture. I would, however, design it slightly differently if I were doing it today - I would widen the frame to spread the boards out a little bit more to get better coverage on the sides of the tent. Also, I would opt for the HLG-240H-24A CC/CV driver (wired in parallel) instead of the HLG-240H-C2100A CC driver (wired in series). This is all pertaining to my space though. If I recall correctly, you're working with a 3x3? In that case, I would opt for four QB132s on an HLG-320H-36A, and just keep the driver around 300w once you're well into flower. Doing this would give you more headroom for a space that's slightly larger than mine.

As usual, I over-vegged the plants (due to space and time constraints), and controlling the environment in an unfinished Michigan basement is a constant struggle, but all things considered, it's going well!
Yeah I'll be setting up in michigan as well. Something tells me I'll be going through the same issues.

Hope you get some good full flowers.

That would help determine the best spread.
