my cousin went into respitory arrest from smoking too much!!!!!!

omg im so scared, we were smoking and we did like 5 bowls off of my bong i got for christmas. and then he had a blunt he was saving for his friend and i told im to light it up. we were smokin and i was so gone, i look over and he was gasping for air. i take the blunt out of his mouth and i called 911. come to find out my lil cuz has asthma.....and i feel like its my fault. idk what to do cuz his mom was cussin at me and she said "is this the example your setting your your little cousin?". the hospital is keeping him overnight and im gunna go see him in the morning.
damn im such a fuck up...........................................

What you do is promise your parents from now on you'll have his inhaler close by first, only get him high on pure hash to weed out the bad stuff, and or that your family should invest in a vaporizer for the two of you.


All kidding aside an athsma attack certainly is no big deal, and you didn't give him asthma, and he may have even knew that was the risk he was taking. Lesson learned.

its my fault because im his older cousin. he does not have an older brother or anything so he looks up to me. and i think he only smokes weed because i do. and i can smoke alot of weed man. ALOT of weed. and i think he was tryin to keep up with me for me to accept him. and i knew the little man couldnt handle this much smoke. but i clowned on him. i called him a bitch, and a wuss. and he just kept smoking. i mean hes like 17 but u kno, other than hangin out with me he really don't smoke. so therefore it is my fault man. i hurt my little cuz..................

i have asthma, i almost died from it once. but as i got older it stopped bothering me, and its now to the point i dont need an inhaler. but i didnt know my little cousin had asthma. if i knew, i would of never let him smoke.

in 2007 i took a huge ass bong toke and coughed so hard that i popped a rib head out in my chest right about my heart good thing it popped out and not in thru my heart... i wouldnt have been the one person known to have died from takin too big of bong toke...my injry never healed and my left apex is way bigger then my right lol

imagine him and a few buddys started smoking and that happened, but his buddys were too scared to call 911 because they were smoking weed and he died or some shit.. Good thing it happened with you. That would be fucking shitty. now he knows his limit, and knows he needs his inhailer when he smokes a bunch.

If he is 17 and knows he has asthma he should have known this kind of thing could have happened and should have had his inhaler near by.

dude it was probably the blunt.

blunts contain tobacco, the tobacco probably set off the respiratory arrest.

pot usually doesn't set off respiratory arrest, I've never heard of it doing that I've actually heard of it helping people with asthma so chill out. weed is more of a medicine than anything.
