hello, just a question
my 600 watt hps keeps my flowering closet at 32 c is this to hot. I have a 5'muffin fan as an input and a can filter and fan as output, keeps the stink away nice but im worried its to hot. also if anyone know if a heat shield will work in a small space, if it would allow the plants to grow a little closer the the light. and keep the heat off my plants.

any feedback would be great thanks

I wouldn't go any higher than that. Mine got up there this summer as was in the garage. Watch the humidity too.

That depends, My light has a cooling tube on it with a built in cooling fan. My plants do get light burn with it though if they touch too long. So if you don't have a cooling tube or guard, not too close. I am able to keep mine close, like 6 inches away when small. Now I have no choice as the plants are outgrowing the space and touching the light.

32 C (about 90 F) is pushing the "ideal" too hot. But provided it doesn't get much hotter, probably nothing to worry about. Listen to what your plants say is too hot (yellow/crispy leaves, etc..).

you might need a dehumidifier. too high humidity increases the likelihood of moldy buds.

hey people,
what if i put a little heater at on of the air inputs that only comes on when the lights are off, but i would make shure it doesent get above 25 26 degrees c i.just stay at 25 to 26 degrees C all the time. would this be a good solution? or even work? because the only dehumidifiers i could find were like $200 and way to big for my grow

i would say look at the plants and if they develop mold, drop the dough on a dehumidifier otherwise i wouldn't worry too much.
