my clones look like they are dying *pics

I have had these clones for a week or more and they keep getting worse.
I have them under 2 fluorescent tubes (1daylight and 1 warm white) basically 24 hours a day. I keep them misted and even have a hood for them.

what am I doing wrong? They still have not rooted.

is that algea? on the cubes?

no its from the green rooting solution i believe.
I think the problem is too much light

theres algae on the cubes i think and also it looks like theres a bit 2 many leaves on those things, clones have 2 choose between using their energy to support the foliage or to grow a root system and it looks like yours arent going to develope roots because theres 2 many leaves on top. just my opinion i could be wrong

it does look as if they have had some problems. have you used a humidity dome?
Roots do not like light if the light has penetrated the cubes the roots would not develop properly.

It would be easier if you just say how you have done this. Were the cuttings new tender growth or woody older growth?

The light will be better 16/8 than 24/0.
2 flourescent tubes is not too much light.

i got the clones from a friends mother plant.

i have a dome yes

try giving them a tiny bit of feed with some ph'd water keep the hood on them but let them breathe now n again dont keep em to wet let them dry out a bit.
a simple energy saver bulb is more than enough for them, about 20w will do, but they will root in the dark as long as kept warm.

if i wanted to be a mechanic i wouldnt buy a loada car parts and expect to build a car i would learn what i was doing before i started
