Rooting of clones is dependant on many factors. A primary one is actually where you took the clones in the first place. Towards the bottom of the plant has more of the growth hormone and represents older portion of plant therefore it roots faster. The higher you go up the plant to take cuttings the longer it does root. To increase your chances of rooting, utilize a humidity dome because clones root faster when humidity is high(so misting the dome 1-3 times daily helps this) . To increase your chances of rooting, make sure the bottom of the clone tray is warmer than your ambient room temperature. when I take cuttings I always split the cambium ( stem ) in half prior to dipping in rooting compound and placing in rockwool, gives you more surface area therefore increasing chances of roots to emerge.
