clones take a while, as long as the top fan leaves are looking some what healthy and not dying than let them continue. roots take time. P A T I E N C E.

Yeah they are healty that is a plus you need humidity, grab a cheap dome and that will help. Don't go lookin for roots by pullin them out either lol they are gonna bust on through any day.

i only pulled 1 of them out, i think im not that stupid. :)

Well i got 24 of them :wall:

So what's the quickest way to get them to root, with humidity dome, rooting powder, keep misted and at 80% humidity?

your right ..git snipped yourself lol be patient let the things grow as of the problem like buddy said up there throw a dome on er..moisture=good

Heat-mat. It works wonders for the speed of rooting. Put an aquarium thermometer in a moistened pot/cube, and adjust to 24-25C in the rooting zone. And I would leave a little less foliage on them than some of yours.

Not too big pots/cubes either, it's vital to keep the moisture and aeration to the rooting stem in the sweet spot.

I've seen roots in 3 days from potting to sprouting with an easy rooting strain, and clones taken in rapid growth.

some of my clippings take as long as three or four weeks sometimes to even hint at roots
sometimes they are two inches long on day three...

meh...i donno

Dont worry till day 20. If they are REALLY MOIST a Plant can take up to 4 wks to root.

hi there i would say that next time you do ur cloning you first

cut at 45 degree angle, not a straight cut as urs shows

and also use scalpal/razor blade to put a couple of slice's in the stem just up from main cut as roots will shoot from all cut areas

but for now i would go with the humid dome and heat matt

hope this helps ;)

I agree on the the 45 degree cut, and I would like to add that roots sprouts easiest from the nodes. So cut the clone just below a node.

But I don't like to cut or scrape the stems, IMO it gives an increased risk of infections. If it's going to root, it'll do it anyway...

Cut roots as described then coat just the cut end with a quality root stimulant. While waiting for the roots use just water until some roots show then go to Clonex or a similar product to feed them.
