also just got done with the annual inspection (we rent this house).

i spent a couple of days toiling and worrying my ass off. packed all my plants (besides the 6 in the greenhouse) into a u-haul and parked it at the local grocery store. threw plywood and tools and saws all over the garage to cover up the grow cabinets.

well, they stayed for two minutes, never looked at the backyard or the garage. i could have done NOTHING and been fine.

better safe than sorry, i guess. just had to vent...

pooky the wonder mom just hatched 5 more chicks. number six is breaking its shell as we speak. 3 more eggs yet to hatch, hopefully.

I found a baby chicken when I came home a few days ago and brought it inside, the next morning it was dead -_-.

When i was about 2-3 my mom bought me a lil ckick for 25 cents at the feed store. I had it for a couple days until i went outside and my sister followed me out and didnt see my chick. When she slammed the door shut and cut its head off poor lil guy
