Can I get any advice on my set up? do i need more lights ? right now I'm using 1x32wx6500k and 1x26wx6500k bulbs just for one seedling. In a Box thats 22"long with a 13"width and I'm also using mylar on the inside of the box to reflect heat. Any Advice will help , I am a Newbie to this.

Also the Rounded leaves seem to be dying is this something i should be concerned about?

So you've got about 88w of 6.5k CFL, which should be good. If you can bump that up to ~100w as the plant grows you'll be golden. What sort of air circulation do you have in that area?

Also, those little round leaves are cotyledons and it's normal for them to yellow and die.

What sort of soil are you growing in? Seems kind of thick and full of sticks and debris, so that might be a concern.

Thanks for the reply.. I have MG moisture control . Idk if thats a good soil or not. It was recommended form a friend that has been growing successfully with it . I have a small desk fan , Blowing on low idk if that enough. I Just want my first grow to be successful.

I've never used MG, but if that's what you can get your hands on then more power to you. I would definitely recommend putting in some perlite with your next batch of soil (when you move to a bigger container) to keep that soil light and airable. I used 1/2 Happy Frog and 1/2 Ocean Forest with perlite and worm castings, had great results. If you can't afford/find something like that or just don't want to it's nbd.

As mentioned bump up the wattage as that baby grows, I try to shoot for minimum of 100 watt per plant. I've been using primarily MH for vegging with strategically placed 6.5k CFLs, then HPS for flowering with 2.7k CFLs. Good luck and keep posting pictures.

Its about 75-78 temp. the new growth seem to seem to come up fine .. i have the bulbs 3 to 4 inches above the plant. I have 3 bulbs now I've added another 26w x 6500k . just to warm it up ... one more question should I continue to do 24hr lighting or should i switch to 20/4 or 18/6 ? Im seeing mixed reviews.IMG_5325.jpegIMG_5325.jpeg

18-6 is good for vegging.....just make sure that when your lights are off that it's totally pitch black in your setup
Thanks Man . its my first grow so everybody that has given me advice, I really appreciate it... So 18-6 won't stress it out at all?

not at all it's what I use, and so do a lot of other people.....here's a pic I just took of my plant that I vegged under 18-6...I used cfls through the whole grow.

The main cola started leaning over today so I ghetto rigged a coat hanger to hold her up.sc230.jpg

That's all under CFL? That's pretty big.. How do you like those air pots? I just ordered a few, I'm going to try them out with this grow.
