hows it going everybody? Today i gave nutes to the $100 OG (and for everyone out there that gets confused when i say that, $100 OG is the name of the strain i am growing, I didn't buy a clone for $100 dollars). I gave her 1.5 cups of this mix: peruvian bat guano (10-10-2) and then I also started her on 1/3 strength Tiger Bloom (1teaspoon/gallon) All three plants continue to show noticeable growth every day. I am happy to see them growing so fast. I have been keeping the lights as close as possible to try to minimize stretching.
Here are today's pics:

please respond with thoughts, comments, or whatever

thanks guys,

Today I watered both of my Blue Dream. I gave them a pint each of water ph'd to 6.5. Everything is going good as of now. day to day growth is very noticeable, especially when i dont look at them for over 12 hours. I am really excited about the $100 OG. When the Blue Dream were young, i screwed them up pretty bad with heat/ph/nitrogen issues. But so far it seems like i have things under control. So I'm hoping for a good yield off the OG considering i started it at 12/12 from clone.

tell me what you guys think.

Hey people, i was out of town this weekend so this is the first update in a few days. The plants grew ALOT while i was away. I will most likely water the $100 OG tomorrow morning. It is amazing how much faster it seems like they grow when you dont get to look for 3 days.

Here are the pics:

Today was a good day. I am loving the progress that i am seeing in the Bud sites on all my plants, white pistils popping out every where. I took some magnified pics using my magnifying glass to show you guys some of the bud sites close up. Think i ended up with some pretty good shots. Anyone please give me your thoughts, opinions, advice, etc... Oh yeah i also watered the $100 OG today with 1.75 cups of straight water ph'd to 6.5

Here are some pics i just took:DSC00171.jpgDSC00164.jpgDSC00163.jpgDSC00162.jpgDSC00165.jpgDSC00168.jpgDSC00167.jpgDSC00170.jpgDSC00166.jpgDSC00169.jpgDSC00176.jpgDSC00177.jpgDSC00175.jpgDSC00173.jpgDSC00174.jpg

let me know what you guys think.

So today marks the start of the third week of flower. The plants have probably doubled if not tripled in size in the past couple weeks. I really hope they start exploding with buds soon. Today I Fed the Blue Dream with their normal mix (guano, tiger bloom) gave them a little over 1.25 pints of water. They seem to be soaking up everything I give them because there is usually little or no runoff out of the bottom of the pots. Does this mean that I should be watering more? AS of now it takes them about 5-7 days to dry out enough before they need to be watered again. Im afraid that if i water with larger amounts that will only get watered every 10 days or so, which means they only get fed every 20 days if i continue feeding every other watering. They arent showing any signs of water stress right now though. If anyone has any advice on this please let me know.

here are pictures from today:

Hey, dont worry about them not being fed enough. As long as the soil is still moist from water mixed with fertilizer the plants will have nutrients to feed from. I would just wait till the soil is dry, then soak the pots and water again once its all dry.
Would it be possible to add two more lights? Kind of in between the plants?

yeah i as thinking about trying to add more. i have another one of those round reflectors and i have another y splitter. i just need 2 more bulbs. i would probably widen the two i already have and then hang the additional lights in the middle over the OG. I will probably go to home depot and pick up 2 42w 2700k CFL bulbs. gotta go there anyways to get more PH test strips.

i find a good pattern to follow is,,,,,, when i water ill pour in water quickly so the water is stuck on top of the soil but not over flowing the pot,,,,wait until it sinks in and repeat.then leave it until the soil is pretty much dry down about two inches, on average this means i water around twice to three times a week but this will of course change due to pot size and temp etc. then work your nute schedule around this, wether you have every time water nutes or once a week nutes etc.

hope im some help.

thanks garageflower, that is pretty much what i have been doing, My soil just stays moist for like 5-7 days. if they start to show deficiencies i will probably have to start feeding them every time i water, but with less strength? for now i am playing it by ear. Thanks for the advice +rep

Looking closely I can see that the leaves are a little ticker, just that it's not very busy for an indica. I guess this kind of clues aren't 100% accurate and maybe neither the genetics/nature. Last summer I grew a durban poison which is 100% sativa and the leaves were way ticker than the ones your blue dream have.

Yeah for sure. my understanding is that characteristics like that just kind of differ from strain to strain. It could also be that its not 100% indica. Also it might not be very bushy because i started it right on to 12/12 from clone so it didnt have any time to get that bushy vegitative growth. Im just excited for when it comes time to smoke em

Hey guys sorry i havent been posting updates as frequently. Been really busy lately. the plants look great. I watered/fed the $100 OG with the nute mix. I upped the dose of tigerbloom up to 2 tsp. per gallon. I will probably go up to 3 tsp/gallon after a couple more weeks. I also upped the dose of guano up to 1.5 tbsp/gallon. I will have an update with pictures either tomorrow or monday.
thanks everyone

Whatsup everyone? Sorry again that there has been no updates lately. but i have just been busy (as you can see in the pics). I transplanted the $100 OG from the small container it was in to a 3 gallon pot like the other 2 plants. I also went out and bought 2 x 65W 3900k CFL bulbs. These things are huge. they are almost the size of my head. I wanted to provide some additional light and also i wanted to change the arrangement of the lights in order to get more efficient light distribution. Tell me what you guys think of the new setup! I fed the Blue dream with nute mix. I boosted the guano to 2 tblsp/gallon and i boosted the tigerbloom to 2 tsp./gallon. From now on, all three plants will receive the same nute mix. I will keep the dosage the way it is for a couple weeks and then i may boost it again depending on how things look. Please reply with thoughts, comments, advice, and other stuff.

I did some before and after shots from transplant and light adjustments, and in the last 2 picks, that is a see through blunt. I found some sweet clear rolling paper watermelon flavor. it burns so smooth and really slow. Its different then smoking a regular blunt or joint cuz you can taste the weed really well. That blunt was a quite delicious mix of some Nice Dream(mr nice x blue dream), blue dream, banana OG, and 5150:

Time to Spark it up!

Yesterday marked 3 weeks of flowering. Today i watered the OG with a pint of water with molasses mixed in at 2 tbspn./gallon. I started to notice gnats in my grow space. At lease i think they are gnats. i went and got some play sand from home depot and i covered the tops of the soil with a 1/2" layer. This is supposed to keep the adults from going back to the soil to lay eggs and also keep the larva from leaving the soil once they reach adulthood. A gnats life cycle is only a week, so i should be able to leave the sand on for a little longer than that. When i remove the sand i should hopefully have no gnats. I hope this solves the problem because i really dont want to spend more money on neem or anything like that. My camera has awful zoom, but i tried to take a picture of one of the gnats so you guys can see what i am seeing. It is the picture that just looks like a picture of my finger, the little black dot by my finger tip is a gnat. Other than that the new lights are doing great. the plants continue to grow, the blue dream are both 2 ft tall and the OG stands at 19" right now.

Here are the pics:

Please give me some feedback people. haha i see the views go up all the time but i never see replies! i wanna learn from other growers on this site. thats the reason why i made this grow journal in the first place. so please, if you have any input whatsoever, let me know about it. It would be greatly appreciated (and probably earn you a rep haha)
Alright guys im out for now,
