I know alot of people wont appreciate this thread, but I also know theres people who will. My girlfriend and I trap cats and bring them to a local no kill shelter. 90% of these cats are super friendly and its sad to see them in the cold. My girlfriend was walking this cat home yesterday and some guy ( with his girlfriend) waited for my girlfriend to walk away and started yelling at her for example, telling her to "get a dog." Such heartless pansies. I now walk with her as most wont approach myself in such a manner.

I dont have all the pictures but ill post what I have on my phone.

First pic is of Shadow. I have him with me right meow. Hes such a doll, we tried to relocate him without going thru the shelter but when we let him out of the car hed walk away and come running meowing back to us so must find him a home or bring to the shelter..

Cool cat, we rescued an awesome kitty from an ex employee and later another big guy from a shelter, that all finally led us to our dog that we scooped up from someone in town who didn't treat him well.

nice vid, never knew.

and yes this is how i control the pet population. i couldve sold them or kept them. but no, id rather give them to people who cant afford a pet, in hopes that their incompetence would provide bounties of little kitten litters who may eventually feed an asain.

but really, she is fixed now. the first was a surprise. not a couple weeks after birthing she got pregnant again, that was a real surprise! i shouldve looked into cats a little more. shes like 2 almost i think. lol

anyway whatever.. i contributed to possible strays.. more ferral cats for you

update on the feral cat- things are going well for him and he remains outdoors in the cold right where he wants to be. this one is wild, won't let anyone near him. hopefully cat buddy is enjoying today's calmer sunny day here in the midwest, it's been windy and snowy.
Hello Abe, thanks for stopping by. Do you have a picture of your outdoor cat? Ive been making shelters Nd putting them out tonight. Im designing a simple shelter that utilizes heat bulbs to keep the cats warm for next winter.

I live by some heartless people, rather not get into details but..whats your guys opinions on calling the cops on people who want to poison/injure cats?

Part of me wants to confront them personally but thatll just lead to unnecessary LEO contact.

EDIT: Id like to just call the cops but I have no real proof, thats why I want to confront them personally and let them know I dont allow that BS. Im not one to get into peoples business, Im quite laid back but this stuff GRINDS MY GEARS.

we ARE law enforcement where im from. nobody calls the law

i had some neighbors poison animals, possibly including a horse (my ex wifes) and a dog as well as a couple cats.

there was a meth lab explosion at the house not long after....maybe you or karma will take care

do what you gotta, if morals/conscience allow. but i dont know what leo is or stands for. your area may be different than mine.
i imagine a complaint could be made and investigation ensues..put em on animal cops lol

its sad but people do poison animals

The reason there are feral cats is because assholes keep letting cats outside.
After you bitch at me and rationalize you letting your cat outside then we can talk about how feral cats kill billions of animals disrupting ecosystems.

I personally dont have outdoor cats, just because I feel theyre better off indoors. I also believe letting (non nuetered) cats outdoors is the main reason why there are so many strays, thus why Im outside helping them.

Only thing you can do to prevent any eco system trouble is to trap/nueter/release. Its not the cats fault in anyway, its the humans.

We had people setting homemade rat traps until someone's dog got into one.

I've always prefered a cat infestation to rats.

The wife and I have re homed some of the cats that would come to us. We even kept some (lol 5)

That is so nice. Thanks for doing that, I really appreciate it. Ive taken in 3 directly off the streets, bought some in desparate need as well.

Ive been through alot, and ever since I got my life together Ive been a peacewalker type. Just cant get enjoyment like I do helping animals in general.

I would love to hear some cost effective tips!

These cats help me relax and be myself. I get angry, more than I'd like to admit, when I'm alone. Kitties keep me company, which is great when you need a people break.

They're social order is hysterical.
