My baby at 1 week

I know this isn't very exciting for most of you but this is the first time doing this. Not sure if male or female, but its really cool watching it grow everyday. Here it is at one week.

Also, I have been setting it outside during the day and at night I put it under a small fluorescent light. Is this a bad way of doing it? or does this work just as well as keeping it solely indoors?

The soil should stay moist, very critical at this stage, and add some soil to it so the plant can stand on its own, plus she needs more light, thats why she is streching.
Yeah I love my first grow and every first grow from seed too.

Basically right now I'm just messin around with this plant because 1. I don't have the funds for any equipment and 2. this was from a bag of shwaa.
I thought that it would need more soil for sure. I have been using a spray bottle to moisten up the soil. I feel I have more control to how much gets put in. As for the light, yea all I have is the sunlight and a crappy fluoro, but hey, its still growing

Yeah thats cool, no doubt it will get you wanting to invest a few dollars on some equipment.

I've been itching to get some equipment. But I gotta pay bills and take care of the baby first.
