If you reduce the photoperiod to 12 hours, the plant will grow more slowly than if at 18/6 or 20/4. Less light means that the plant generates less food (glucose).

I haven't looked really closely but it looks like some Gorilla Glue autos that I grew where I had one plant at 4' tall and the other was 2' tall. I upped the light level to try to get light to the little plant. That was the wrong approach. I had to get a small light for the 2' plant and I ended up getting foxtails on the tall plant. Your plants looks a lot like the one that fox tailed - colas didn't have the normal conical shape. Instead, I got a lot of weed that looked quite a bit like a skinny Thai stick (don't know if they still make Thai sticks).

Based on the amount of inflorescence and the morphology, you've given your plant a lot of light. That's great but you might have over done it. What were your PPFD and DLI readings? If you don't have that info, what brand and model light and what were your hang height and dimmer settings?

All in all, I've done five auto grows and one photo so I'm a lot more familiar with autos. Autos will thrive on a beastly amount of light, BTW. I'm a "high light" grower meaning that I get my plants to the light regularly ran my autos at DLI's in the high 50's and low 60's.

Re. taking a long time - welcome to the club. I'm a DWC grower, one plant at a time in a res that holds 28 gallons and is located in a 2' x 4' tent. My grows take 110± days, a far cry from the "advertised" 60-70 days. I don't see it as a "bug" that they take that long. Quite the opposite, in fact. You can get autos to mature in 70± days - grow in soil, in a 3 or 5 gallon pot and you'll end up with a solid 6 or 8 ounce harvest. When you introduce DWC and add in lotsa light, that goes out the window. With the ability to create so much food (that's why light is so important) and with the roots having the ability to expand in an "unlimited" manner, growth can be prodigious. It's worth the wait, in my experience.

The net net - if those are foxtails, I'd turn the light back up to the light saturation point (800 to 1000µmols) and enjoy the show.

Big thanks!

The problem is i thought the plant is Revegged lot of Pepole say that and she has some light stress the beast plant grow to close to the leds so and that's why i reduce the Lights to 12:12 so reducing hopefully lot of stress because i can't hang the leds higher. The DLI is different in every angle different DLI ppfd but close to the leds the DLI is 60+ ore easy more so i have to reduce the light the harvest will be good also looks like.

Yeah you Damn right in Soil the Plants finishing much quicker 65 days was my record but normaly 75 Day's but a Northern lights auto took in soil also 120 day's that's was my longest in Soil! In Coco i finish a Plant also in 80-90 day's but some plants took so long too yeah Hydro is different but the harvest is also differently :) I hope she is ok and finishing to so far away what your thoughts 120 day's + ore 2 week's longer then that 130-140 day's hopefully not i will start a new grow lol

If you're at 60± mols (DLI) at 12/12, the PPFD has to be extremely high.

[checks grow journal]

With a 12 hour photoperiod, you need a PPFD of 1400 to get a DLI of 60 mols. If you're at that PPFD, it would not be surprising for the plants to foxtail. The light saturation point for cannabis is 800-1000µmols in ambient CO. If every thing else in the grow is dialed in (wind, water temp nutrient balance, VPD, etc.) you should be able to raise your PPFD into that range but, if you exceed that, the plant can't use the photons that are hitting is and damage can ensue. It might well be that's what you're seeing. As a point of reference, if you're running CO2 at 1400ppm (which is roughly three times the ambient level) your PPFD should be in the 1200µmol range (per Bugbee).

Re. 120 days - I don't recall where I read it but I did have read that plants that foxtail don't go through the normal finishing process which means that you can harvest them at pretty much any time…after they've matured, of course.

That was my experience, as well. The crop smoked like other grows but there were no colas, just lots and lots of skinny flowers. It was weird to harvest. With no colas to cut off, I just pulled the branches through gloved hands and stripped the "buds" off the branches.

Do you think my Plant will be Shitty with weird harvest too??? My Plant looks like it has Colas maybe skinny one but some of them are not fatten up yet they will hopefully and i hope i harvest potent buds..

I can't switch back to 18 hours that's the think i put it on 12:12 of fear she Revegged maybe that was not the case but safety first.

What you think?

Edit:

I running 4 x 55w cob leds and 1 Single Samsung leds 100w dimmable! Total Wattage 320w

Here the DLI Chart but the DLI change from angle to angle in the tent a litte bit.

140 days! Certainly don't want to do that!

Fox tailed plants do not have colas that follow the normal maturation process so you can time the harvest by trichome color.

Looks like she has a deficiency??? I rise the Ec to 1.6 I don't think it's to much she need food and i don't think flushing her out at this point is a good idea?

Day 111 what you think?

I clean the bottom very Bad all the Popcorn shit!some Pepole say Harvest her bevore something goes bad but that's unthinkable to cut her down what you think? For me she grow but slow do you think cutting nutes to zero is good here? Some say she has enough food in her leafs and she finish quicker without much nutes.

This is most Tragic Grow i have ever had!!! An auto at day 111 and looking far not Read!

Your opinion please!
