!!My 600w bulb blew what to do/how long before damage is done!! +repp

My 600w blew while (i think) plugging a 1000w power supply for a computer into the same plug along with some other things, i know i need to order a new one asap but what can i do in the mean time to prevent damage and how long till damage starts to take effect? lack of high power light? or will it just not grow??

Can you run to a hydro store in your area? Thats what I would do. They cant wait for shipping. Its a hoilday too. Add 2-3 days to when they will get it out. How far is the nearest store?

about an hour away and i have no car , i am going to order one now for next day delivery so it'l be here on Tuesday

anything that could be done temp? i've put them in my bathroom under the spotlights and shut the door

if you have some CFLs or tube`s or some kind of florescent light around you could add that, and one thing you could do, is order two bulb`s now your at it, I think we can agree its nice to have a spare one

I was just talking about a back up light today. Makes so much sense for the investment of money and time we put into this. They will be fine in the bathroom with the lights on for a few days without worry.

just keep em in the dark, there will be no ill effects and you an carry on as normal.

better then providing half ass light!!

p.s i have done this once for a week, when the light came back on they were very pale green but after 30mins everything was gravy baby!!
