My 6 strain 400/600 watt 2x2x4 tent grow

Hello everybody!

I have been growing for a few years on and off, but I've never made a grow journal before and I just started up a new batch so I figure why not start now!

-Secret Jardin DR60 (2ft x 2ft x 4ft 8in.)
-400 watt MH veg, 600 watt HPS flower in a sun system cooled hood w/ 370 cfm fan
- Eye Hortilux bulbs
-1 gal grow bags with canna coco
-Canna coco A + B nutes
-GH Grow and CaMg+ for supplemental nutes
-Sunleaves pH and TDS pens
-Tap water (about 70ppm, pH 7.2 out of the tap, not bad)

The tent is sitting at 40% humidity and 78 degrees during the day, 68-70 at night. They were transplanted a few days ago and are starting to take off. I just fed them with 1/2 strength nutes and my runoff is pH'ing to 6.2-6.3. Hoping to do some LST to maximize my space and flower in about 3-4 weeks from now. I guess we shall see how it goes.

So here's an update...It's been a week and 3 days since I transplanted them and they aren't really taking off, just filling out a bit. I wonder what the deal is, my pH is good, I watered a few days ago and it is still pretty moist, the temps are at a solid 78-80 degrees, humidity at 50% at the highest, I feel like they should be pretty much exploding...but anyways here are some pics

Probably a heat problem. I had the same thing my with AK47 during veg. Temps were 78ish and 45% humidty. When I got the temp down to 74/5ish they took right off. Some strains like it that way...

Ok new update! Sorry it's been a while, I had some problems...My coco was too wet due to me being new to the medium and not mixing it with perlite...so I did that, 50/50 mix and transplanted. I had some pretty gnarly nute deficiency because of the coco being too wet and no o2 getting to the roots. Now, they have exploded so I took clones and I'm switching to flower!

Here's what they look like nowadays (sorry they are flipped in weird directions, I have tried flipping them and re uploading them upside down but they just wont do it...so weird

Also, I just got a shiny new Bluelab pH pen and it is sooooo much better than my POS sunleaves one. Super accurate, I recommend getting one if you dont have a good one already

Day 5 of flower, and the have just about doubled in size, everything is going to schedule despite the setback. Started giving them some Crystal Burst, a 0-15-15 from Humboldt nutes (at like 1/4 strength for now). Also, 2 of my clones are rooted already and its only been like 5 days! I soaked the rockwool in a 4ml/gal solution of Rhyzotonic and I guess it worked!

I agree with dan the space is small for a 400/600 you would benefit more from a bigger tent but you seem to be doing fine as far as dealing with any heat issues. If you stick with this tent I suggest trying out a scrog with 2-4 plants unless your deadset on keeping all your strains alive in that case do all 6 lol.
Great job so far dude your doing good.

Well I wasn't planning on doing 6 strains at once in the same tent but my friend gave me 6 different clones so I figured I'd challenge myself. As far as the tent goes, I don't have room in my apartment for a bigger tent. I have 89,000 lumens covering a 4 sq/ft area, theoretically I should get massive results in this space. Yeah, maybe I could put it in a bigger tent and get bigger plants, but my temps never go above 80 degrees and light reaches pretty much every part of the plant in here. Guess you guys will just have to keep watching :)

Update!

So I haven't been flushing these plants like I should... a gallon or so per plant of pure water every third watering in addition to the half gallon of nute water. Well, I was getting mad salt buildup and I was trying to correct pH and nutes the whole time and it wasn't doing anything because I'm still trying to treat coco like soil. So I flushed them like crazy. Put em in the sink and let the water flow, probably like 8 or 9 gallons each then fed them with a gallon of pH'd water and nutes. Luckily here we have great water, and I should have been doing this every time.

Well anyway, they're looking great now, here's some pics

Day 35 of flower! I decided to fast forward to the good part...

Also, I moved to a new house with another grower and we combined tents so now the 2x2 is a veg tent and we have a shiny new 4x4 that these are now in.

The first couple pics are of the bubba kush, so far my favorite looking plant and the one I am most proud of

Any updates? Should be harvesting lol
sorry I havent been posting too much, I wasn't getting too many replies and I figured nobody really cared lol

Its been about 70 days since flowering and I have pulled 4 out of the 6 plants in the last week. I'll post some pics of everything later tonight! I'm cutting the other 2 down tonight as well.

So. It has been completed. sorry I didn't go more in depth, I didn't think anyone was really interested... but everyone is interested in bud pics!

Here's the shire plant

and the sneaker

So there ya have it. Dry weight of all 6 plants is 194 grams. They are all pretty darn good, but i would say the order of best to worst (in terms of visual frostiness, scent, and smoke) would be the bubba kush, the alaskan, the sage, the mcd, the sneaker and then the shire. Althoug hnone of them are cured yet so they will all just get better
