Okay. so this is my first grow jornal ever! it's an exciting day in my eyes.. now i can share my fair ladies with the RIU community (pics coming soon). no lie: i consider this place home

So here is my details;

Grow medium: Soil
Area: Indoor closet
Light: 68watt + 42watt + four 23watts= 202 watts of CFL
Seeds: Bag Seed lol
PH: unknown (no tester)
Temps: 70F day 50F night
Veg Nutes: Miracle Grow Organic choice NPK 8-0-0
Bloom Fertz: Expert Gardener Flowering plant food NPK 10-15-10

Well so far so good... I am 3 weeks into the flowering 12/12 cycle and my largest plant already is showing a red hair?? is that usual? I will show pics when i feel the feds aren't swooping over my head.

No bud formation yet, but hairs are widespread.

My other girl (who i believe is sativa dominant) had preflowers but just today the pistols popped out of the calyxes on the branches:hump:(oh yeah..)

My smallest mj tree appears to be an indica. i concluded this from it's compact growth pattern and wide leaves. I'm believing this one will mature first, but my largest girl already has a few red hairs that I mentioned.

I believe this means the bigger one (who may be a hybrid) will finish before her younger sister, but i thought indicas matured quicker. I guess I'll have to wait for the resin to appear..:joint:

Yeah it's lookin all good. everytime i turn the lights on the hairs grow more numerous. i may have to flower for 12 weeks and see what happens. lets see were in the third week, and drawing close to week 4 since 12/12 schedule. I added up the lumen count to 13300 lumens so hopefully thats enough to create either some rock hard nugs or some fluffy budz lmfao

Had to murder a grasshopper on my beautiful sativa last night :( stupid bug. I think insects think I'm blind or something. Saw a stupid black insect floating around my lights this mornings, but no insecticides or pesticides will be used. Molasses does a nice job of getting rid of critters

Oh that would be so sweet if i ended up with a white widow from bagseed!! ;) lol

Well here I go again messin around with the top soil. They tell you let your plant go nitrogen deficient in the process of flowering, but all the new growth is just too tempting:leaf:. Well the Miracle grow molasses is derived from sugar beets, and i plan to use it through my flush cycle. Anyways...

What I did: - to my 2 largest plants I added a 12-6-6 fertilizer to the top of the soil that also has boron, zinc, and manganese included.
- to my smallest girl; since i mixed the above^ fertilizer into the pot already when I transplanted; I decided to add a nice coat of fertilizer consisting of spagnum moss, perlite, and vermiculite. The NPK was 8-24-8

these are time release nutes, but experimenting never hurt anyone. I just want them to make it to harvest.

ALRIGHT SO HERES THE PLAN (be quiet)

Before I chop down my ladies in the near future, I want to take the branch that produces the most bud from each mother
and have another round of grow journal for the united growers of RIU:fire:

12/12 has been in effect for 4 weeks.. yea
You know how male pollens floats around in the air and germinates with female pistols. I've been watchin 4 hermies, yet I have 3 fair ladies!bongsmilie

Well like the pollen does... i just noticed sparkly resins floatin around in my grow op:blsmoke:

I think each plant is absorbing all the extra ooze into itself, and obtaining even sticker surfaces..

week 4 is wonderful...
