I have harvested the plant in the pix above. It had some really nice tight buds on it.

My harvest have been just south of my goal on the last two plants. 54 grams dry weight per plant.

I will harvest another plant this Sunday. The "twin towers". Actually their are more than two towers.

I'm hoping to get three oz from this plant.

I have to put a plug in for my T5!

As you probably know it's an awesome light.

I'm running three blue spectrum bulbs, and one red spectrum bulb. This combo seems to work really well. It gives me nice tight inner nodal spacing. As you can see from the pics above, after moving the clones to the vegging area, where they are under CFLs, the plants start to stretch and spread out.

By the time they are ready to flower, they have hopefully developed into a nice 2'-2'6" plant.

Here is a little bud porn for your viewing pleasure.

I moved this AK47 plant into the flower room. It is from seed and has not vegged as log as the others, but it's getting pretty big.

The plant I will harvest Sunday.

Same plant, different angle.

Two plants side by side, to be harvested in one and two weeks respectively.

Another plant doing well.

Thanks ASV! And thanks for stopping by.

Today is harvest day. I am harvesting the big plant with the two large colas. Actually their are more than two.

I guess calling her the twin towers might not have been a good idea. I meant no offense to anyone effected by 9-11. I apologize to anyone who has been offended.

So now I'm off to chop her down and trim her up!

Wish me luck, I'm coming in hot!

The dry weight on my last plant was 64 grams.

This brings the avg for the last three plants to 57.3 grams.

This is just over my expectations of two oz per plant.

OK! Bud porn is coming soon to a grow room near you!

The dry weight on the plant with the twin colas is 73 grams.

This brings the avg for my last four plants up to 61.25 grams per plant.

Total for the last four plants is 8.75 oz.

In order to harvest every two days, it will take 31.5 plants in the flower room, on a nine week harvest. If I keep this avg, I will avg just over a pound per light, using four lights. Two 600s, and two 400s.

Thanks again ASV.

The two day rotation is coming along nicely. I harvested one this morning, I will but another into flower tonight.

Maybe I missed it (burnin' the foilage in the pipe), but how long do you veg your ladies? I'm attempting a small hempy grow myself and hoping to get a few pointers. I did notice in one of your posts that you are located somewhere below the Mason/Dixon line where it gets hot (95 - 100F). I am also located in the same region and have had to battle the heat for my girls. Fans, ice etc. I do believe I have run into a heat issue with one since it seems to have slowed down her growth. BTW they are from bag seed from a bro in the Vol state.
How have you been combating the heat?
Great Grow Bro!

Welcome aboard Shipwreck. Wait...did that sound like an oxymoron?

After the clones are moved from the T5 to the CFLs, I veg for another six weeks. Top um a few times, and it gives me a nice bush to flower.

I live south of I 40, and yes it gets really hot here in the summer time, although this summer has been unusually cool.

Heat is the reason I am using the hempy style of growing. I have used bubble buckets and aeroponics. Both worked extremely well, but fighting the res temp got to be more work than it was worth.

To add to the problem, my grow rooms both have metal roofs.

I have a small 110 AC in the veg room and a larger 110 Ac in the flower room. The small AC I run all the time as the lights are on all the time. The larger AC I have set at 75 degrees and, since it has a power saver function, it cycles on and off as the temp goes up.

I hope this helps. I'm proud to be your first post.

Good luck with your grows. Hempy is awesome.

The AK clones are not as bushy as they should be.

This is the second time I have grown AK from seed. The first batch was awesome. This batch I am not happy with at all.

The seeds came from the Attitude seed bank. Obviously the breeders are not consistent.

The next time I buy seeds, I will use a different seed bank.

I think I will plant my grand daddy purp beans today. I have been wanting some purple pot for a long time anyway.

The purp beans are in the grow plug!

I remember back in the seventies, I knew a gorilla grower who grew purple weed. To this day it was right at the top of the list of the best pot I have ever seen...Except for that one time when someone brought some back from Vietnam. It was the only time in my life I got so stoned I couldn't drive.

I only got two seeds as a promo, so I'm hoping for the best.
