I just put a freebie from my last order into a pot. Fastbuds Wedding Cheesecake. It's my first auto as well. Also switching to Jack's 321 nutes so this will be a learning experience. A good yield would be nice but I hope the quality is there.

I have no idea really about the size my one bean can achieve but it's going to have all the light it wants. Guessing you must have a decent size space for all those babies.

Looking a bit behind tbh. For now I'd take some chopsticks and poke holes into the soil to allow better drainage until you up pot them. When you do use some perlite to offer better drainage.

Vermiculite contains silica that perlite doesn't. It isn't quite as absorbent but no silica need be added. Not sure if it's sold outside of the US.

This info is from Iowa State's Professor Dr. Bugbee's YouTube video.

Is there a reason you're growing autos indoors under lights? I ask because they do look small and could start flowering in a couple weeks which doesn't leave much time for them to get big enough for a decent yield per plant. With photo's you get to determine when the plant starts flowering.

Good luck.

I live in south spain and have tried a winter grow for autos outdoors but not enough hours of sun. So this is my 1st indoor grow for the winter. Growing autos for a quick grow as out of my photo period summer grow. Should have grown more....grown autos as well outdoors in the summer but not finding them as easy as photos.

Happy New Year! How do you find the quality compared to photos?

That is good news. It's a shame we can't grow outdoors here in FL.

I'm surprised the autos gave you trouble outdoors since the lineage is high in Ruderalis.

They look fine to me. Don't sweat it. Wait a couple more weeks and you'll likey see some good growth. Different strains and mediums see different progress at this stage. Autos tend to be a smaller plant to start with. Some strains work on a good root structure before they take off.
