My 1st grow. 65w cfl 1'x'1' grow area. growing OGdiesel.

Hey all, this is my first real grow. Ive done my research but im still learning, and all your guys help and input will be greatly appreciated. The strain is Og Kush x Sour Diesel growing in FFOF soil.

Started from a clone a got from a dispensary. 1st week i left it in my friends grow box (cause im very limited in space) and he ended up giving it heat stress by the end of the week so i decided to take it home and build a tiny 1'x1' grow box.

took this pic @ the end of veg week 2 i believe. the lady in the back is my step fathers, it got too big so its staying outside now. the 2 little guys are unknown strain. i used the water/sugar/yeast in a 2 liter bottle method the add co2 to the room. using a 68w cfl 2700k w/ 4200 lumens

Most of these i got for free by emailing the company's and asking for samples. I dont even use them all. haha
I used dyna gro fertilizer program, alongside with a compost tea supplement. In the compost tea i use amazon bloom, llama compost, p.g. micro builder and bloom rush(bloom only), strapped molasses, liquid karma, and aqua shield in the veg. and some of the indo bat guano during week 3 and 5 of bloom.



well i guess thats all for now. Hopefully im not doing anything wrong. ill be updating this weekly from now on. i also posted this up in the cfl listings on accident. peace.

well i think the plant look pretty good a healthy but when you go to flower you are going to need a better light and you should be doing a SCROG grow or LST'ing these to maximize your yield using CFL's and small spaces there are some nice threads on here about how to SCROG and LST thats just MO but other than that it looks pretty good congrats

Thanks man! i want to add another 68w cfl soon. I want to try do a scrog in the future once i got a good system down, ive never heard of the lst method. ill look in to it.

how tall is that box? it looks like your pretty much at the top of it already.... a good rule of thumb when you start to flower the plant will almost double in height so if your already at the top of your box you might have some issues but like i said im not sure how tall you actually have it

and all LST'ing is tieing the branches in directions to keep height down and in theory get more main cola's and to keep the canopy even to get the most out of a small space but like i said look into it there are some good sources on RIU for both ways

I say it about 2' 6". yeah its almost getting to the top, but i can always raise it from the bottom . i already had to raise it about 3" last week. i like to keep it 3" to 4" away from the light

Sub'd to this, love watching these small grow's. Very creative to make these happen - I like the lst'ing method, makes since and doesn't stress plants much.... BUT.... I am a Noob so please look at all the great info in the forums for better suggestions.

i wanna do the lst on this ogdeisel. you guys think its to late to tie it down? if so ill just do it to my 2 little known fellows.

I also have a og kush/ny diesel growing but im about to harvest..supercropping is a good method of shortening a plant for short grow spaces.

i just tied down my little unknown kushes. Going LST!! ha Here's a pic but ill start another thread on that grow later on. i used tape. haha im cheap.

That's 368 watts of cfl.....I vegged for 5 weeks under 130 watts(20/4)and Tuesday will be 8 weeks since first pistils.

you can start LST'n at any time its just the later you do it the harder and thicker the stalks will be which means there will be less give and more chance to break it while you are bending it but its possible i started to LST my outdoor 2 years ago when it was already 3ft and flowering and it still helped i wish i had picks on this comp but unfortunatly i do not :-\ i think LST'n is probably the best way to go on a 1 plant small grow it creates very little stress unlike the topping method which = less chance of hermies and/or males less stress = happier plant just MO subbed to this though i wanna see where it goes good luck

I just finish tying it down with some hemp i had. i didnt pull them down too much since my box isnt that wide, but i think its gonna help alot. yeah lst is great! thanks Kartoon for introducing me to it!

heres a couple of deficiencies i think cause by nute burn. should i flush?




also one of the stems i tied down snapped a little last night. the stem and the buds on them still look healthy though. hope it doesnt effect it much.

no prob man anything i can do to help love these little grows as they require the most attention for maximum results truely makes you appreciate nice nugs so much more when your burning what you worked so hard to grow lol ... i think you should be fine with the stem that snapped a little as long as its still attached and those "deficiencies" dont look like much right now its hard to tell ... what type of nutes are you giving right now? what is your cycle? and what PH are you running at? like i said before it doesn't really look like much right now but keep posting and maybe we can get this solved... CFL's are great when you know how to use them
