Mutated Experimental Massive Plant (Cream47 by SweetSeeds)

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen, one plant i am currently growing and experimenting with and was left behind with the training, was "unintentionally" light stressed and went to flower on 18/6 cycle. Clone, photoperiod hybrid strain, almost 5 months old, has grown till she reached 32" of distance from the 450 real watts Led (almost like a 2000 hps) which should already give around 700 ppf at that direct distance with the lowest setting.. Then  i had the great idea to turn on the "full spectrum" COB blast providing
something like 1600 center PPF at least :spew: for 3-4 days of 18/6, she started growing like mad.

But food was right, temps were kept low 70s and the humidity around 55% so she did't end burnt up, just started shooting off pistils like mad.
Branches growing at a normal rate and shape, not stretching.
As soon as i realized that she was budding after just 3 days, i gave her a train and set the first scrog net, turned off the full blast on the Led and, afraid of creating an hermaphrodite, i switched to 12/12 after 36 hours dark.
Currently she is at day 10 of "official" flowering, and started her stretching phase WHILE still putting on buds, and looks like she is in the middle of week 3.
She also has developed a POLYPLOID mutant branch (double the amount of DNA in the cells) that topped himself and started growing flat and wide as two fingers, putting on a ton of bud sites from everywhere. I will soon be able to post pictures to share this beauty of "nature" with you, hopefully will become something monstrously big and beautiful. :hump:
Still can't believe this happened to my plant as it is an extremely rare spontaneous mutation(is usually possible by damaging plant tissue or seeds with acenaphthene and colchicine, really poisonous and i would not honestly try some cancer giving weed) and will produce monster flowers with double/triple/quadruple the trichomes amount and potency.

There are few techniques or products that can induce early budding to give the plants these 2 extra weeks to bulk up instead of stretching, and light stressing to me seems a bit unusual but might be worth it.. it didn't stop the stretch at the end, and if everything goes like planned and i avoid early maturation of flowers, i hope i will be able to push her to 12 or 13 weeks and get a ton of bud. I'll keep you updated about this.
Good Grow!

Grow Details:
4x4 tent. lamp=450 real watts, Full Spectrum Phlizon 2000 CREE COB LED.
50-50 coco perlite, 10 gal pot (40 lt). feeding daily, 10 liters of water and 4 liters of runoff. ppms (500 scale) are from 360 to 420 in this phase and runoff is a bit lower. Feeding them starting with almost 0 ppms water:
BASE:
-Silica 0,8 ml/l = 60 ppms
-Advanced Nutrients Sensi CalMag + (iron and kelp) 1,3 ml/l = 220 ppms (total 280)
-General Hydroponics Micro and Bloom Luca's Formula: 0,25 ml/l Micro - 0,5 ml/l Bloom (this plant really requires a low dose of nitrogen and leaves still dark green)
-GH PH down. Range: from 5.6 to 5.9 Ph.
SUPPLEMENTS:
-Adv Nutes Big Bud 0,5 to 1 ml/l
-Adv Nutes Nirvana 1 ml/l
-Adv Nutes Bud Candy 0,5 ml/l
-Botanicare HydroGuard 1 ml/l every two or three feedings
-SuperThrive
Obviously this is referred to the week im into, in next weeks i'm going to drop silica and sthrive, drop big bud, lower nitrogen and calmag a lil bit, and will start introducing Adv Nutes Overdrive around week 5 to week 7 before flush. Adjusting ppms every day referring to what plant and runoff comunicate me. After week 5 i like to start gradually lowering ppms.

VPD is right, temps around 74-77 F and humidity 45-55%. Not a great difference from day to night cycle.

You should be able to run that light at pretty much full power. No way it is putting out more light than a 1000w double end bulb. No way.

I'll try! i'll acclimate the plant to the full blast with a couple hours every day... Hope i'm not gonna run into problems! I am only using half of the spectrum right now, because buds in the center of the canopy look smaller and have more orange than the ones on the edge of the canopy, so i presumed that i had too much light... Maybe the genetic likes a bit less than usual, dunno.. When she got light stressed with full blast, she reached not 32" but like 12 inches of distance from lamp, so that makes sense... Producer chart says around 1000 ppf at 32", 1600 at 12"..
Now that she is trained and lower, i'll definally give the cobs a try. shes 32" (80 cm) from it more or less
Would you suggest that?
Thanks for your comment!

As long as your light is a decent distance away you should be able to run it full power. You need it far enough away to have a good footprint.

no that's pretty obvious... Unfortunately i'm not able to get that plant lower, lamp is on the roof. i wish i had trained her a lot more in veg, but was left behind... hoping that she will become a monster anyways

Ah so that is what its called.

I'd say it's not so rare though because I get a fair few of them. Only say one branch on a single plant every 2 or 3 grows but I have seen them many times over the decades.

What I tend to find at harvest is that you get a shit load of hard flattened stem and no bigger buds, its all stem.

Personally, I'd prefer not to encounter them.

You have such a great plant there BTW but I would certainly it under a much better light asap because the wasted potential is contradictory to everything you are trying to achieve.

Thanks a lot @KK26, i'll make treasure of your words. It never happened before to me, just made a ton of research but nobody told me this.
What i found instead, is that these branches seem to tend to develop more potent bud, having twice or more times the amount of DNA and genetic content in their cells.)

Found this pic of trichome development as well on this article:

(Trichome density on sugar leaves was measured at 2 weeks prior to harvest. Tetraploid leaves showed 40.4% higher glandular trichome density (4.41 ± 0.16 trichomes per mm2) compared to diploids (3.14 ± 0.15 trichomes per mm2). However, there was no obvious difference in the maturity of the trichomes on leaves, with the majority in the milky stage and some beginning to turn amber)

If that is what the experts say who I am to differ.

Just my experience.

Lovely plant it is. I will keep an eye on this.

Yea she's receiving a lot of love, and giving back a ton... i'm so excited to see how it turns out, i really appreciate anyone that found any interest in the way she has been growing.
For the light: in the weedtube video i posted before, the full blast is on and it's easy too see the footprint and that edges are shaded, but the center is getting a pretty nice amount of light. Not even close to the picture i posted with just the cobs on.
To have a better footprint, i was thinking about getting two smaller fixtures to place together, maybe two Mars Hydro TSL2000, which is a rectangular long lamp that puts out 972umol at18", full spectrum, 300 watt true output for a single one. Should this get close to perfect?
