what do you think about these so call mutants strains, like ducksfoot/abc/maple leaf indic/even the crinckle leaf pheno that pops up alot in the blueberry by dutch passion.

are these strains the start of something big.ok if we cant change the laws on growing weed, maybe this is the closest we can get (so far).by growing weed that dont look like weed.

what do you think?

Haven't tried mutant strains, still busy trying to grow generic strains. White rhino
AK47- blueberry- hashberry, ect.

do you not have any thoughts on them,

most poeple cull them off but there is a few breeders that have used mutants and
had good things come from them, like the ones named above.
its like nobody botherd with ruderalis years ago it was classed as
usless until it was crossed and used to make the auto flowering low rider type plants
that are selling like hot cakes now.

I have two "mutants" right now that I'm pretty sure I induced by popping the seeds out of the buds while still growing on the plant. Although the germ rate was 5/5, 2 of the five are deformed. I'm about to take some more pics of them and post them. In the stone ages there were some experiments with creating mutant polyploid weed. here's an article (haven't read it, just thought I'd put it here for you)

when I take the pics I'll put them in this thread and the other one about "can seeds be to fresh?"

peace

thanks for the link,i have seen other links about these polypliod i like reading stuff like this, though the kinda mutant plants i am really interested in are the odd shaped leaf types.

so i will be looking forward to seeing your pics.

if ur thinking leaf shape for stealth reasons it won't work during the flowering. They look pretty much the same during flowering. Another strain I know of that has inherited mutations and is still great is Chemo. $50 for twenty seeds @hempdepot right now.

good luck and keep us posted about the mutations

i just like the idea of having something new and differant in the grow room.
i also like the idea of crossing two mutants then try to get it to breed
true for the mutated leaf pheno.

BUMP! hey all, i just found a mazar mutant taken as a clone off my mazar mom. its also feminized! can i clone it and still get mutant clones? enjoy
