didn't they do something on mythbusters about plants listening to all sorts of music. Like the classical stuff actually grew better then plants listening to heavy metal.

No it was the plants in the tent that had rock music playing that did the best, which goes against what a lot of people say about how classical music helps there plants. Also don't take myth busters word for it, although their experiments are usually scientific, they sometimes come to non scientific conclusions, after all it is half entertainment! The experiment was a complete sham btw, they had something like 6 tents all playing something different as well as a control tent with no music/sound. The thing is regardless of which plant did better they would of pinned it on what ever music/sound the plants were listening to. I would be careful though about bad mouthing this theory, a lot of people here don't like it.:blsmoke:

i thought about this myself and was thinking that if u had a large subwoofer and played a a continuous beat with a very low frequency (possibly lower than we can hear) that the air fluctucation back and fourth could work in the same way as a fan to make plants grow stronger.

not saying that this would work any better or worse than a fan but was thinkin that it was technically a way that playing music could help ur plants grow, but i guess it wouldnt actually be music....

oh well, wat u think?
