after injecting the cakes with the spores can you recap the syringe and use it later say i only want to do 3 cakes for now just as an experimental trial.

yea what im probably gonna do is make a bunch more tomorow when i get off work early the spore syringe should still be good by then i dont know im a noob at mushrooms

how long does it normally take for the spores to start growing into white fuzzys lol, i have the jars in a cupboard above my fridge so the bottom of the cupboard is nice and warm its the best spot i could think of.

One can recap the syringe and save the rest for later. Why would one use a whole syringe for 3 cakes? 1-2cc's is plenty per cake. It is a waste of spores and adding too much water may be detrimental to the cakes health. We don't want the mycelium to be swimming in the cakes.

On average, it takes 4-7 days before mycelium will appear.

i know how to much to use for each one, but im using the jar and tin foil method but my jars have lids with a rubber ring on it to make it pretty much air tight i left them closed after inncoulating for about 24hrs and the other ones about 48hours. but i opened the lids and the tinfoil is still on the jars properly should the mycelium still appear? even though they were closed after inoculation.

yep. we did and it was fine. i think the syringe stores for one month in the fridge. or is it 3? check with the site you got them from.

my friend bought them from toronto hemp company, since spores are legal in ontario and he had them for awhile im not sure how long though.

Yes, for sure you can reuse the syringe. Just make SURE you flame the tip before putting the cap back on.
