mushrooms of the forest...

Currently hiking the A.T., and I wish I had learned more about mushrooms in school. I have a basic understanding of mycelium and stuff, but I can't identify a store mushroom from a poisonous one. A textbook I had from a plant science class I took had a list in the back, but no pics. I'm gonna post random pics here, and you guys tell me whether to eat it or not. Before I eat ANYTHING, though, I'd like to see a reference with a pic from an outside source.... I'm not trying to die out here.

Let's do this AGAIN! You cannot adequately identify a mushroom from one, or even several pictures. Why is this so difficult to understand?

Your best bet is to pick em,take em back home and have a pro identify them..wait..your best bet is to go to walmart and get a pressure cooker...

Even mushrooms that are taken to a mycolisist, unless he has an electron microscope can be misidentified. What did they grow on, in what density. Near what, what do they look like at different stages of growth, what season

If I were you, I would not gamble my life on this.
