Tetra, A man named Shields wrote a book on raising worms... One very cool story is that some Rabbit growers has always complained that Rabbit droppings stunk to high heaven due to the high ammonia in the urine. Some Rabbit Guy found out that Red Wiggle worms composted the Rabbit droppings to such an extent that the smell no longer existed. And the worms just LOVED their new home. The multiplied so much that the Rabbit Farmers started selling the worms..... Pretty soon, the selling of worms was bringing in more money than the rabbits was. This was the beginning of a lot of big, commercial worm farms. I had up to a couple million worms at one time. I can't find my Nutrient list, but rabbit manure is mellow, unlike poultry manure. I found a local Rabbit raiser, a Lady, that was VERY happy for me to haul the shit from here barn where 100's of Rabbits was caged. I could have got a pick-up truck per month, if I wanted, for free. Wash the rabbit manure with a water hose, to wash away the urine, and your plants & worms will have a Party.
I LOVE Cockatiels!
