Murder in the D

Thats our city...most of them people probable pissed someone off...or dissed the Lions...lol ( joke from another thread)
 
A murder map made you close your business and move out of state? Were the people murdered your customers. Were you robbed? Or just an over reactor? I live in flint and we beat detroit on the murder capitol in 2010. Im not worried about being shot.. there are crazies in every city and state. I love Detroit. Its not that bad....
 
holy shit that's pretty crazy. I was scrolling through the far right where it shows the method of death..it's pretty much all "gunshot" or "assault." Wanted to see "catapult" or "sword" or something

this years been pretty bad in the murder dept.
 
My husband robbed 5 times (that he told about), pistol whipped a few times (the reason he is deaf on one side), trucks and buildings broken into countless times (no police response), driver offered a baby for sale, drivers robbed too many times. Oh and car jacked. Better to leave than to be a dot on that map.

Once when we were broken into they moved lobster tails to steal hamburger. Thank god they were stupid robbers.

if i had the financial option to do so, i would absolutely relocate based on that type of map. who the fuck wants to walk through that kind of neighborhood to get to my business? or park their car there? how much bulletproof glass could i afford to replace in a fiscal year? how many times can i afford to be robbed or extorted? guaranteed the cops won't show up till there's bodies in the streets. i live in a garden variety craphole, not near as bad as detroit, and the cops won't go near some neighborhoods. the busses won't drop people off in certain places, they'll just drive right past. the only traffic that some businesses get is local residents (who are dirt poor anyway), and when they get robbed the cops usually make a report over the phone unless there's bodily injury. no thanks.
 
In the D the bulletproof has to go from the ceiling to the floor or they shoot below the counter tops and get you anyway. We were a delivery service so they'd get us in the parking lots or fueling the trucks.

Its pretty fucked up anymore...the only people making money are the ones that are robbing it from regualr people. The cops are afraid to cruise most places anyways..they dont even come sometimes lol. I was in the BP on W Fort and a trucker got robbed in the bathroom, but stabbed the guy robbing him...the clerk said jus go and ill take care of it..the police wont come for 2-3 hours. Thats about right to, people go missing int hat nieghborhood all the time.
 
We broke. It sux. But all of Michigan isn't like that. There are still lots of quiet towns. Its people all the good people leaving this state that's making it worse. I would reccomend moving out if detroit. Try ann arbor or something.
 
I feel awkward for saying it but 98 percent of the people killed were black and got shot. The few white people on there mostly died from assault........... I mean go ahead call me put for being "racist" but it kinda proves a point.......

it proves theres a lot of black people in the D....a white guy will rob you and shoot you in the face to...jus a matter of what street you went down lol
 
Just sounds less likely then the other way around, but like you said there is like 85 percent black 10 percent white in D
