Multi Strain CFL Grows - Blue Mystic, Mystery Freebies and Bagseed

I've only been growing under a year, and through trying different things for educational purposes, I now have 2 veg rooms, and 2 flower all CFL. While I still have a lot to learn, especially about feeding, I am now happily keeping the lights up to 1/4" from leaves, which has created some amazing crystally nuggs.

My main grow is as follows:
4 Blue Mystic - topped and between 13" and 16"
1 x 200w 2700k CFL - 14,000 lum
2 x 30w 2700k CFL - 2000 lum each
BioGrow and BioBloom Nutes
2'x2' Mylar lined tent

These pics are from today, 20 days after flip, so allowing a little "pre-flower" time, i'm guessing 2 weeks flower. (the pics in tent are one week old)

My second Flower room is a wardrobe conversion with 3 ladies, week 7 flower, that exploded from about 9" to 3ft during flower.... no shit!!!! Had some ridiculously high nitrogen soil.

These were from a seed bank xmas Freebie, and can't be sure what they are. All obviously sativa, and having dried and smoked a couple of sprigs early, the smell is definitely some kind of haze on 2 of them, and the other is very fruity.

3 random ladies, looking rough, as you'll see from the pics
1 x 125w 2700k 9000 lumen
1 x30w 2700k 2000 lumen
1 x 30w 6500k 2000 lumen
BioGrow and BioBizz

Veg Room - Its gotten a little crowded in there after recent cloning, and some seedy weed I bought managed to produce 12 germed seeds

After taking the clones, I chopped the top off the mother, and made a complete clone from this, so I have a mid-harvest smoke in a couple of months. Also I chopped the mother in a way that the lower stems would get all the energy and provide one last lot of clones, while I wait for the second gen mother to grow.

I have now split the seedlings into a seperate cabinet, with a couple of CFL's, so my official Veg cupboard just has the clones and mother in. There isn't enough light in either veg room if i'm honest, but it's weeks before a flower room is ready, so slow veg isn't really an issue.

That's my plants as they stand at the moment, all 38 of them. Not really done much in the way of journals, but if anyone wants to comment on my grow or offer advice, i'd appreciate it. However if your one of the guy's on RIU with a small cock and feel you have to validate yourselves by critiscising, DON'T BOTHER!!

Erm, not sure what brand, It was supplied by a Lightbulb Company called Greenlamp, in the UK. I guess they are expanding and have commissioned someone to produce it for them. Are you a UK grower?

Its a good quality tent for the price, plenty of ventlation optioins too

so whats good lighting to have in my box? i wanna leave same bulbs im probly gonna be 12/12 from seed once my first plants are ready to flower. what kinda lights should i use. i have 4 lights right now imma go geit 2 more y sockets so ill have 5 places to put lights. cause ill take the hanging lamp out once i get the y adapters. should i do 3 2700k and one bright white and probly a 100w daylight ? imma buy the biggest cfl they have at homedepot tomorrow what spectrum should i get?

I've read a lot about multiple bulbs giving better leaf coverage, but to be honest, with me smaller, (16"-18" ) topped plants, growing direct into the lid, i'm really pleased with my light coverage, most leaves are well within 4" of the bulb, and lots are an inch or less. I have a 30w bulb either side just to help spread the light a little better, but of all my grows, this looks by far the best!

Just realised I still haven't added any pics of my bag seed grow, or second flower closet, lazy lazy. The bag seeds are currently vegging naturally in daylight in my conservatory, and the second flower closet plants are just a nightmare. 9 weeks into flower and have whispy thin buds, with hardly no substance. On the plus side, just sampling one, and think it may be some kind of bubble gum, lovely after-taste already,

The pics aren't great, but hopefully you can see how light the budd leaves are, that's all crystal!!

The seedlngs are the result of my bag seeds germinating, and are curently vegging in a conservatory, in natural light. Haven't really got a use for these, not sure what I am going to do wit them if i'm honest.

The cuttings are from my Blue Mystic, which have struggled without a humidty hood, but now they have one, things seem to be moviing along

My 4 Blue Mystic ladies at week 6... and looking and smelling gorgeous

I'm really happy with this grow, only a small amount of nute burn showing, literally just the tips, and discolouration of the leaves has only just started.

Prob gonna let them go 8 and a half weeks, they're quoted as 7-9weeks, and in my experience, it's worth letting them go the distance... even though I'm desperate to smoke some :wall:

Day 43 of Blue Mystic, and just looked at the trichs, and they are all cloudy, very few clear, and no Amber yet, but it's getting close!!

Evening all, day 45, and here's some zoom pics, using a 30x zoom magnifier. and my phone. They didn't come out too bad considering, you can't can't see but the Trich's are 90% cloudy, 9% clear, and 1% amber. DISCLAIMER: These are only estimate percentages, I didn't count them all, cos there are F'ing thousands!!!

By the way, I threw away the 12 bagseed that I was growing in the conservatory, it seemed a waste of effort this time of year.

The 3 freebie plants are just diasterous, totally wrong for the set up, but will be replaced in the next couple of weeks with 4 blue mystics. Thats right, 2 flower rooms, with 4 plants in each, think I will finally get my perpetual smoke working. No more shitty, harsh, expensive weed!!

Day 51 and flushed.

I chopped the most advanced plant down so that I could through the old mother in its place, and make a comparison between flushed and not flushed. I've stuck it in a bottle of 6.2p>h water for a couple of days, as I've read of others doing this, and the flowers I buy for my wife sit in water for over a week and survive, so I guess that there is some sense to it

Also, chopped a couple of lower popcorn nuggets off the other day, hoping that they are dry tommorrow, ready for sampling

Just chopped down the most advanced plant, at day 51, and then stuck it in water for 48 hours. it seemed to use a little water, and def drain some more colour (therefor nutes/goodness) from the leaves, so i'm pretty excited about smoking some in 6 days time.

Its always hard to tell the weight as they also shrink so much during drying

but i'm guessing 9-10g. That isn't much, butu if i can get that from 4 plants every 4 weeks, i'll be happy
