Moving location --> Less Sun...

Currently I have my plants in the perfect spot in my backyard where they are getting the most light all day long. However, they are getting conspicuously large and my parents are worried about the neighbors or other people seeing them. Even though I do have a medical card, they want me to move them to another spot in our backyard that gets several hours less sun per day. Will moving them to this new area cause them to flower prematurely?

I really wanted to grow some monsters this year, now I feel that they wont reach their potential :wall:

Any insight or suggestions is appreciated

definitely top them so you can convince who ever to let you keep it there. Moving it will freak it out and send it into flower if it doesn't get enough hours of light.
