moving From +-18-19 hr light indoor to spring outdoor?

Hey there everyone. I have a question relating to light cycles of my plant. I have currently been growing outdoor in pots and moving the plants indoors at around 6pm under 48watt cool whites. I live in the southern hemisphere and it is currently early spring (spring started beginning sept)

My question is: if i had to permanently move my plants outdoors where the light is currently not necessarily 18/6, would they start to flower prematurely? or would it be better for me to wait untill summer is closer?

do a quick google search with "(the name of your town) sunrise sunset times"

that should have a big graph with all the numbers. u can look up a certain date, and see how many hours the sun will be out that day. if its more than 16 or so, your probly fine to put em outside

Yes, you can supliment with a electric cord & light bulb, to keep 18/6.

but i have a question i seems like my length of day on this website peaks on like december 24th at 13hrs 45mis.... surely this is wrong?

if u are closer to the equator, the time of day changes less. if your on the equator, its pretty much 12 hour days all through the year i believe. the farther away u go, u start having bigger shifts in the season
