Moving Clones into a 600 W Scrog Cabinet

Hi Folks,

I know that this is a really basic question, but I need some guidance.

My BrainStorm clones look awesome (first time cloning too!). They were taken during flowering and the subsequent branching network they exhibit already will be awesome in my Scrog set up.

However to the chase, the clones were grown out under 2 x 39 W T5's @ 3510 lm.

A) So... can I simple transfer my babies straight into the 600 W HPS cabinet for 18/6 with no "in between" steps in the time speant in the cabinet? Or start with a couple of hours of 600 each day and increase this time untill they are hardened off?
B) Or..... should I start a full 18/6 with my light up high and gradually work it down to 'em?

As you can see I'm chasing my tail between these two ideas of how to introduce my babies to this new sunshine:?, I jes don't want to fry 'em:cry:!

Many thanks to the group and good growing,

Kayuman

As long as you're using an air cooled light you could put it 6 to 10 inches from the tops. If not, I'd give it at least a meter. If those are pics of what you're talking about they'll be fine. You're going to have to water them more often because they're going to grow a lot faster.

yes they will grow fast but the reason he has to water them everyday is because they are root bound, roots need room to grow, BIG HEALTHY ROOT SYSTEM, BIG HEALTHY BUDZZZZZZZZZ

He he,

Sry bout the post with the dumbass message and pics, I kinda screwed up a post there!

What I wanted to show was how branchy the clones were (takin during flowering). And the Scrog Box pics to show the cool tube for the lighting questions.

And to Maximus's point the girls will be re-potted tomorrow, all part of the master plan.... thanks a lot folks!

2.5 gallon pots would be great.

when you transplant, take a razor and put small slices in the bottom of the rootball, will stimulate the roots to grow quicker.

ask away, i wish i would have had something like riu when I started growing, had to learn everything the hard way. trial and error

plus you can add i little flowering food when doing this, beefs up the roots. but don't add to much and just the first 1-2 waterings, then stick with your veg food

Many thanks Maximus316 for the great advice in transitioning from my clone to scrog cabinet, +rep man!

Here's an update pic; the clones I showed u in last nights posts are now in new beds in their new house:grin:!

My first Scrog begins....

And finally YES, having access to a site like RIU at your fingertips is invaluable,

All the best
