Mother Plants

Just wondering what the best way to keep a mother plant going is. Have looked at alot of the threads about mother plants, but not one tells a person how to keep a mother plant, what to keep a mother plant in...type of medium. How offten to flush with what type of medium. To keep one mother for years, how,when and how much is the best time to trim the roots up and transfer. Is sunshine mix#4 good to use byitself, or does it need some dolomite lime or something for the low ph. What is the difference in mediums..what to do if planted in rockwool..... soilless.....soil.... or just roots into a planter with expanded clay. Looked up on google and thousands came up with the title mother plants, but nothing helpful. Have mothers in sunshine mix#4, and hope to hear how to keep them in there or just how to keep them looking nice and strong.

Keep it on a 18/6 lighting/dark period and it will not flower... well that depends if you also have an auto-flower strain too?
Everything else is up to You!

...I keep my mother's in 3-5 gallon pots, filled w/ Fox Farm's Ocean Forest. I use organic/guano teas about once a month to fertilize. That's about it.mothers and clones.jpg

Thank you Trichlone. Can always try what someone is doing, and seems to be working for them. Now hoping im not being a pain in the ass...lol...but what teas do you mix up
for there feeding, do you just feed them once a month, and give them water 3-4 times? When do you flush them? How offten do you to keep a good ph level?..Sorry
for all the questions, i just love my mom and want to keep her in good health... :) Anyone eles know of a thred to read or tell what they are doing with their moms. Of 91 people
looking i am sure there is more then one person with a mom.
