If i keep mother plants in 5 gal pots(soil), about how long can i keep them? Ive always cloned clones, but thinking i want to try keeping moms in a seperate tent. I've read to feed lightly and sparingly to keep growth minimal but dont know how long before its rootbound.

depends on what gallon bucket its going from. but i mean if you threw it into a 10 gallon bucket you wouldnt need to worry about it for a while especially if your gonna take allot of clones off of it then it wont be spending much time growing as a good portion of its life will be recovering from some shock. it will live if its root bound it just wont look pretty.

Well right now theyre clones in cups, just figure once the take root well, id like to put them in their forever home... maybe ill go with the 10g, so ill can some extras if needed.

how long can you keep moms . this question will bring up a lot of different answer . i will tell you 6 months if your cutting a lot of clones off her . other people claim they keep her for over 6 years .
