What's up guys
I just got back from the hydro store where I got a free sample of Mother Plant Nutrients by Hydrodynamics International
Here is a link: http://www.homeharvest.com/motherplantplantfood.htm

I got a free pint bottle of the part A and part B
Has anyone used this product? It is supposed to increase carbohydrates in the mother plant so that when the clone is cut it has nutes to feed itself in the stem so that the leaves don't yellow and what not
If anyone has any experience or tips for using this stuff please let me know
Have a good one :blsmoke:

Yes of course the guy talked with me about it

That is pretty much what he told me but I was looking for some other user's info on it
He said that a guy from another local hydro store used it to root rosemary with great success and rosemary is very hard to root
I got a shirt with it too that says LOVE YOUR MOTHER on the front lol
I thought that was a nice touch with the samples

I HAVE used this product. I did NOT have good results. Too much feeding too often caused slower root production. HOWEVER THAT BEING SAID, I feel that ALL plant strains are different and require different things. There is no way you could say one product is good for ALL mother plants. PS I "raise" SFOG. My moms hated it but Im sure there are strains out there that like it. Theres my 2 cents for what its worth. :hump:

With too much, too often, do you think you'll have good results with ANYTHING?:wall:

I've been doing host plants and cuttings for ~23 years now with all sorts of 'stuff' and techniques.

What I've found best for long term host plants (9 months+ in the same can), is Jack's Classic Bloom Booster 1/2tbl/gallon of water every 2 weeks. Lower N for not a lot of green growth and enough P and K for good stem development for the cuts.
