Most strains here are Indica dominant. Is it locally or globally?

I watch the dispensaries near me for great clones and I have occasionally scored some nice strains. But most the time the closest to Sativa dominant I find is 50/50 hybrids, which aren't as bad as Indica dominant for me. I like Indica at night time but not during the day. It seems like I am the polar opposite from most people in my area being a Sativa dominant enthusiast.

Indicas finish faster, so are grown more. Very few growers want to flower a strain for 14 to 20 weeks for small airy buds

It's all bullshit. And just because a plant has WLP doesn't make it indica dominant.

Why spend 3-4 months to grow some pounds when you can get the same amount in half the time?


In a place like where I live you will NEVER find a sativa or dare I say, Narrow Leaf Drug variety, on the black market.

Before 2001 I didn't even know what strain I was buying, just chronic for 50 an eigth. But for me I don't mind longer flowering times because truthfully I am seriously well stocked. I want those very high end strains that take a long time to finish because those are inevitably the ones I love. Also no one hee has them so...

I hope legalization happens enough we can start feeling comfortable trading strains freely. I might start a nursery if I knew it was safe to operate.

I sold some but I smoke most of my narrow leaf drug varieties never grown a sativa (hemp) plant.
