morel mushrooms

Hey has anyone tried the morel mushroom kits... would be kinda cool to grow some

Not me. Are those the real expensive mushrooms? Like truffles?

Would love to hear how it goes for you. I have considered purchasing mycelium to spread in the yard, but I just like finding them so much. Still, I think you would have good results if you followed the instructions. Might be a bit warm for them now, depending on where you are/have them, but I know fall is prime time for inoculation; that is, if you go that route.
