More light during flowering

Outdoor grow, second time around. My first attempt last year had some issues.(street light, caterpillars and a wild fire) Thought I covered my bases this year, put up a tent to block the light, BT spray for the bugs and thankfully no close fires. Then my neighbor trims his tree and my plants that are 1-2 weeks away from harvest are getting about and extra hour of direct light in the morning. Am I screwed again or am I being paranoid? Appreciate your thoughts.

Probably not more light, though just more direct/brighter light for an hour. At this time of year where for many of us in North America (depending on where you are and what your latitude) a bit more light can't be an awful thing.

Yes, more direct light, it was filtered through trees before. I was concerned it might cause them to stop "ripening." Glad to hear it shouldn't be a problem.

I think more direct light is usually a good thing
Thanks! Wasn't sure with the plants getting less and less sunlight, then suddenly getting an hour+ more if it was going to throw them out of wack.

More intensity, same amount of time. I think you'd have more trouble if you actually added an hour of daylight which isn't what has happened. It's like if you have a tent and you added a light but kept your timer the same.
