Montana Durban Poison Outdoor

So I was going to grow DP outdoors in Montana this year and usually our first frost can range from mid-August to Mid-September..More likely in Sept. but we could get snow in August! So I do have a potential backup plans if the weather doesn't work out. I have done some ruderalis strains before and they work great due to the flowering cycle. My question is should I grow strictly DP or should I mix up some strains? What are some more good strains???:joint:

I'm a fan of Durban Poison. One of the great old strains.

Even though I grow it every year, I also grow many others.

You need to find a way to lengthen your grow season.

Is your garden near your home?

Electricity is wondrous stuff. Greenhouses are pretty cool as well.

Unfortunately, the garden is going to be nowhere near my home, but it will have access to a potential electrical supply (solar panel if need be) and I can't build a greenhouse. But I do have an area where I could move them inside if it starts to get too cold. Do you think the DP won't be ready if the weather does cooperate and I get a good window til mid-september? They will be put out about 3 feet high to jump start the process here in Montana. I love the DP indoors! Man, that smell takes over the grow room! Can't smell anything but durban! Ahhhhhhh.....yes!
