I've got some 0-50-30, Grotek monster bloom. has anyone ever used this?

I'm probobly going to try giving it in conjunction with fox farm tiger bloom. any advise from anyone is greatly apprciated. wether you think it's a good or bad idea. I would be using big bloom but i got sent two bottles of tiger bloom instead of 1 of each.

use it in combination with the tiger bloom. foxfarm makes a similar product called beastie bloomz and it is supposed to do the same thing.

i don't know tiger boom, but i wouldn't mix two bud boosters together, it'll burn the plants. Pick one and use as directed. less is more in these high concentrated nutes. i didn't mind grotek, been around a while and the only complaint i would have is the shelf life, grotek went clumpy in a about a year, i've had some labels do it months. Clumping of salts is not really good for the dissolving, although probably not that much, i'm just picky on freshness.

didn't want to offend you man, just giving my opinion that was asked for is all. Eh.
 I am not offended just collecting information, I have no ties to Grotek. I have never used any of their products, I am using Foxfarm's 3. Just looking to get a feel for what others are using in thread about blooming nutes...

Sorry man, just on edge a bit obviously. I currently used Big Bud for the last time i think, looking for a new one, thinking PK 13/14 by Canna, or 0-53-33 BC Products. Fox Farm is mostly American, i'm in Canada and am partial to Dutch and Canadian products.

Just a quick note.

I'm researching the difference between just using the 3 FF bottles, compared to using them with the powders. I've used just the 3 liquids alone and gotten really wispy, light-weight buds on 4 different strains.

Now I'm using Grotek Monster Bloom in place of all 3 FF solubles(BB, cha-ching, OS). I was told by my hydro shop (great guys) that I should get relatively the same results if I do this.

Anyone experience this routine?

I'm 2 and a half weeks into flour and the Grotek Monster Bloom has ABSOLUTELY created more bud sites on my plants. I'm super stoked about this. I'm just concerned that I'll get wispy light buds again.

BUMP! I just picked up some of this stuff recently. It was a suggestion by a friend of mine at the local hydro shop too. Anyone got any more information or opinions on this stuff?

products like this and beastie bloomz are steroids so you always want to start at low levels so you can see if the plants like it. im running 3 strains and 2 of them love monster and the third hates it ??? at 1/4 - 1/3 of the suggested strength it is still a very powerful chemical fertilizer and it can get hot fast. IMG_0240.jpg IMG_0241.jpgIMG_0245.jpgIMG_0246.jpgIMG_0247.jpgIMG_0249.jpgI ALSO HEARD SOMEONE MENTION THAT THEY USE THIS AS A "FINISHER" BUT SINCE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SERIOUS CHEMICALS ITS IMPORTANT TO FLUSH FOR AT LEAST THE LAST 2 WEEKS WITH NO NUTES OR NATURAL NUTES. I STOP ALL NUTES 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE CHOP BUT WHEN I USE A STEROID I FLUSH FOR 3 WEEKS , AFTERALL WHO WANTS TO SMOKE MONOPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE :) YOU ONLY NEED 1/5 OF A TSP (1.2 GRAMS) PER GALLON I USE A 1 QUART MIXING BOTTLE FOR MY NUTES SO I USE 0.3 GRAMS PER BATCH ABOUT 1/20TH OF A TSP(LIKE A HEAVY PINCH OF SALT ) AND IT REALLY WAKES UP THE GIRLS SO IT MUST BE STRONG. THE PICS ARE OF MY GIRLS 4-5 WEEKS INTO FLOWER AND I ALSO NOTICE VERY HIGH LEVELS OF CRYSTAL WHEN I USE IT! JUST MAKE SURE YOUR GENTLE AND YOU WILL LOVE MONSTER , AND ITS REALLY CHEAP COMPARED TO OTHER BUD BUILDERS ! ABOUT $0.05 USD PER QUART :)

Light fluffy buds usually means poor light penetration , or chopping the crop too early . I use cfls and sometimes i cut the top buds off when they are ready and i let the bottom of the plants flower for another 2-3 weeks . I use ocean forest and the ff3 pack , a root inoculent when i first transfer the clones . Superthrive goes in all my water a capfull per gallon and the monster bloom as soon as i start 12/12 lighting. My buds are always dense and heavy now that i have learned to be patient . I used to start cutting when the trichromes were about 1/2 brown and cloudy , but sometimes that happens too early or too late so i cut when the buds are good and firm .

You are bang on! Less is best! And as for monster bloom, keep an eye out for change in colour we had out of date stuff before it went a pale purple not good! Lucky we clicked on before feeding
