Molybdenum Issue ........

Hi , i have a plant that is suffering from a Molybdenum problem,
Please someone advise me the best way to fix this issue,
i can find lot's of stuff on how to diagnose , but not fix , this is a new word to me , please advise , thanks in advance :hump:

This is what you need to do to fix it:

Fill the following:

Growing Method:
Medium:
Lights:
Temps (max-min):
Relative Humidity (max-min):
Nute Line and Regiment:

Now post some pictures of the affected leaves, making close up, then a photo of the whole plant.

Solution to fixing a Molybdenum deficiency
One way to fix a Molybdenum deficiency is to foliar spray with Molybdenum, like Miracle Grow All Purpose plant food and Miracle Grow: Tomato Plant Food. These can also be used to mix in with water as well. (Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients, or it will cause nutrient burn!)Other nutrients that have Molybdenum in them are: I think Peters All Purpose Plant food does, as well as Greensand, Lime. Green sand and lime is slow/medium absorption, while Peters All Purpose Plant Food is fast absorption.

Now if you added to much chemical nutrients and or organics,( which is hard to burn your plants when using organics) You need to Flush the soil with plain water. You need to use 2 times as much water as the size of the pot, for example: If you have a 5 gallon pot and need to flush it, you need to use 10 gallons of water to rinse out the soil good enough to get rid of excessive nutrients.

If feeding any type of produced organic or chemical fertilizer, molybdenum def is impossible. However, it can easily be mistaken with P overdose, which alters ph and locks out phosphorous, causing a p deficiency and burn simultaneously. If you are getting funky yellow and red, I suggest the simplest method for any problem; Flush it out, and start without. Water in less than drowning circumstances never killed anyone, and a neutral ph and low ppm base is easy to work with.

Molybdenum is a micronutrient, certainly not something to be majorly concerned with.

from ed's book:
"Generally a Mo def occurs when a S and P are def."
S can be gotten from epsom salts. Mo from all purpose ferts. Even Miracle Grow. Here is the ingredients list:

The percentage breakdown is as follows:
Total Nitrogen: 15%
9.2% urea nitrogen
5.8% ammonium nitrogen

Available phosphate: 30%;
Boron: .02%;
Soluble Potash: 15%;
Copper: .07%;
Iron: .15%;
Manganese: .05%;
Molybdenum: .00005%;
Zinc: .06%.

I have no bad coloring on leaves @ all , what i have is new whispy growth , tell you what i will post a picture .......

Ok so i have no bad leaf coloring just new growth looks dry and wispy ,
other plants in exactly same enviroment are doing fine,
Strain is G-Bomb , week 4 , from clones,
i have grown this strain lots with these Genetics,
Any help offered,

Clonex I'll have to disagree with your diagnose after looking at the pictures. IMO you need to add more Sulfur, Phosphorus and Calcium to your nute mix in overall they look hungry, locked and shocked, what about the PH?. I don't see any pink/orange color around the edge so I'm pretty sure it's not Molybdenum

Ph is fine i use a neutral medium ,Cellmax and hydroleca and rainwater so ph stable,
Have been using on feed , vitalink grow , only had 2 feeds at 1/2 part strength,
they may be shocked from transplant a week ago but there is no reason for them to be locked as i said the others are just fine,
Now you mention about the color i guess maybe not a molybdenum issue,
so what do you advise that contains S,F&C that i should add ?
i performed a 20ltr per plant Flush about 4 hours ago as i decided this can do more good than harm,
i have never had an issue of this kind before......

I'd say the flush was a great call, You could keep it 1/2 strength and add Calmag plus, superthrive will be handy too and Foliar feed with seaweed/kelp liquid extract.

thanks Umbre , will look into these products , research some and get back to you , let's hope the flush helps , man i hate having issue's , problem is you can take advise until your blue in the face , you can add stuff but not take out so easy , thanks for your advise Maps....
