Molybdenum? Cant be!

She is 5 weeks and 2 days and 23" right now.

You know I received several clones from the shop that were "clawed" I just began ferting normally for veg and the new growth grew fine. The old leaves never straightened I just removed them anyway.

Ok is this what you are talking about for "claws"? Had to restart the pc, what a piece.
What strain did you have? This was a clone from the dispensary.

Seriously?! Nobody has ANY idea? Where are the posts people? Why is it doing this? Please?

Have you recently fed it? Hard to say for sure, but it could be from too much nitrogen, starting to 'claw'. If I were you, I'd add some more light, and water a little more thoroughly. That thing is awfully stretchy, which could indicate both problems. Underwatering will cause a plant to starve, especially if you don't soak all the soil, especially around the edges. Yeah, it could be getting enough to never get to the point of drooping, but, it could still be underwatered. Soak that thing.lol Overwatering, is a failure to let the soil dry out afterwards, and has nothing to do with how much you give it, when you do water. If you're watering thoroughly, and the plant is still showing deficiencies, then it's time to feed. Based on the size of that pot, vs. the size of your plant(width included), I'd say that the soil isn't depleted yet. I could be wrong, just a hunch.

Thank you for the idea and your time, but i dont think your right, lets see. Its some of THE best soil you can buy, its Dr. Earth. I did have a little drainage problem a couple weeks ago because i had put too thick of layer of lava rocks on the bottom of the bucket. I pulled out most of the rocks and did a b1 flush a little over a week ago and she looked super healthy after that and eventhough she was still pretty well soaked from the flush I added a 1/50 mix of about 150ml of bloom nutes to keep her on schedule and for about a day and a half she was really droopy/ overwatered looking. that was on Wednesday night so if it is a deficiencie prob, its not one of the NPK Defeciencies. The nute is CNS17 bloom I used in the last 2 weeks of veg and so far the 1st week of flowering. I havent used any Cal-Mag because she dosent seem to need it and at the moment I dont have the $ for it. If it were Cal Or MG lockup the plant should look a lot worse than this and be all or most the way thru the plant. Im sure that she isnt under-watered in fact ive been over watering her if you count the flush. She should be clear of all chems other than NPK and some B1, I did a double dose of the B1 which kinda syncs up with the time that she developed the "claws" but she FORSURE needed the extra B! she was getting pretty stressed from adding chems and them never draining out the bottom when I had to many rocks in there.

As far as her stretching, she may be doing some of it but she is an almost full sativa so she is going to be tall, she is under a 150watt HPS for her flowering at 8" away which may be causing her to "reach" for the light being that faraway but I move her to 6" away and her leaves get dried out and approach burning very quickly so there dosent seem to be a happy medium at where i can put her that she wont burn AND wont reach. Thoughts?

The plant really isnt nearly as lime green as she looks in the pics its the flash of the cam. She not in a real well lit area. The new growth is a lighter green but that shouldnt be a prob, usually they are.

Sorry man, but I still can't help but think you've fallen victim to the "OMG, don't give them too much water" BS that I see here so often.lol It sounds like you have plenty of light, so that's likely the reason it's so stretchy, sativa or not. I've grown sativas before, and they look quite similar to the indicas, when they're small, pretty nice and bushy. I'm not dissing ya, just telling ya you have some tweaking to do.


Looks like it could use a good soaking, right now, actually.(or very soon) The damage could also be from the light/heat being a little too close. Hard to say for sure, in this case. Sorry, wish I could be more help, atm.

Sativas are generally tall and thin, but they don't start getting really noticeable, til they get a little bigger. Usually, they really go crazy once they start flowering, not so much, beforehand. Are you using one of those moisture meter thingys? Those really aren't that dependable, and will give you problems, like you have right now. Your soil could be dry around the sides, top, and bottom, yet the meter will tell you that everything is okay, because there's still moisture in the center, where the probe is at. When, in reality, all the roots that are sitting in those dry areas, aren't taking in anything, food or water, starving the plant, effectively making it think it's in a smaller pot, keeping it confined. Watering, is such a hard thing to decribe, as far as when to do it, and why. What I can tell you, is that if you soil is dry around the edges, and the top is dry(an inch or so), that you don't have to worry about overwatering. Overwatering, is keeping the roots soaked to the point that they are deprived of oxygen, which is very wet, nowhere near what you have now. Cannabis plants love water, but they love oxygen, as well. It's finding that balance, that's the key to success. What I've found to work best, is to water heavily(so that every single grain of soil is wet), then let them dry for a few days, to about where your's is now, then repeat, over and over. Same thing when you feed. It's foolproof, and guaranteed to work, as long as you let them dry out afterwards, there's no threat of overwatering, at all, unless you have shitty soil with poor drainage, in which case, you do not.

Appreciate the ideas but the Ph is at a constant 7. With the H2o I use, it never varies more than .2 each way. What is FWIW?

@jaw:what im using is a Tri-Probe that does Ph/light intake, and moisture. To answer your earlier question... I tested the moisture in 6 different places at different spots and different depths. Closer to the plant im getting a reading of anywhere from 4 to 6. further away towards the edge of the bucket its anywhere from 4-7. that could be in part to the fact that I added about 3" of soil to the top layer to fix that it dropped down about 2" when I pulled those rocks out of the bottom (and she is a little tipsy towards one way and i havent tied her back up with the garden tape yet again).

Ya its weird, a few people say that they have seen this but nobody seems to know why. Maybe its just a mutant or from a mutant mother as Green Inferno suggested. (shrug) i dunno?

For some reason ( havent done anything but water) my ph dropped down to 6 and those leaves straightened out... whats up with that?

I used some bloom nutes on Wednesday morning and im getting some leaf tip sagging. im still having some drainage problems so it could be nute build-up. Does that sound right to anyone? I also fed 1 cup of molasses tea yesterday but I doubt that its related. Thoughts?
