Mollasses

(1)what does it do for your plants?(2)How do you administer it? tsp/gal?(3)what type/brand mollasses? i am 3 weeks into 12/12 photoperiod and i cant find an indept thread on this site, can someone explain the pro's and the con;s for me please.

supposed do do some bacteria thing in the soil,plus more crystals,tespoon gal,unsulfered,grannys at wall mart
