Moldy cola shit

On my bagseed plant, the entire cola (about a foot long) got attacked by mold. I was terribly upset to have to chop the whole cola off. I don't think theres really anything to be done with it now. Unfortunately, I do not have a dehumidifier and the weather lately has been pretty humid. I have installed a more powerful fan to try to help dry it up the air.
Would you recommend any precautions/sprays to keep the environment/buds in check?

Thanks : )

I have a horrible humidity problem when the lights are off since my vent fans broke. Poor mans method if a dehumidifier doesn't work....? Bucket of dry rice in the grow area. it soaks up humidity really nice. Without the bucket of dry rice being in there the humidity when the lights are off is around 70%. With it in the garden when the lights are off I open the tent and humidity is a nice 45%. I thought of it after I dropped my phone in the toilet and know that rice absorbs all the moisture out..it saved my phone and my buds!

I would recommend spraying with a mild hydrogen peroxide solution. Then leave a fan or shake the plants so stagnant water does not sit. This will stop any mold from developing on the flowers.
