Mold?

I was looking at my plants today and noticed a white powdery substance forming on the soil of two of my plants. It is almost like a very very light layer of snow. If any one knows what this is and what i can do to get rid of the problem, all help would be greatly appreciated.

It's possible that it could be the salts building up on the top of the soil from the nutes you use but i dont think its powdery. IF you can see the white shit flying around when you touch it i believe its mold. I would remove the infected soil. Aslong as it doesnt move on to your plant you're in good shape.
