Mold Questions?!

So recently i went out to my guerrilla grow and found out one of my big bushes died from root rot... I wish i would have found it sooner but by the time i came there it was all brown and dry kinda disintegrating when you go to touch it.
So i pulled the root ball out and when i did a huge cloud of what i hope was not mold flew up into the air and drifted towards my other massive bush about 15 ft away... So right about now im thinking im about to lose another 3 pound bush from all the potential "mold spores" that blew onto it...
I shook all the main top colas off but im wondering how quickly it could spread and if there is any measures i can take to prevent mold outdoor

Maybe it was just dirt or somthing man

I wouldnt stress man ! Mold spore are always in the air
