Mold sucks. It's scientific name or whatever is botrytis. The shitty thing about it is by the time you see the mold your whole grow is in critical condition. You have to keep a constant eye on it from now until you're done drying because by now there are literally millions of microscopic spores floating around your grow and landing on your other plants. The development of new rot can be kept at bay with lots of air movement, the more fans the better. The rot usually starts in the crook between the stem and the base of the bud. You can create some sort of shim to pry the bud away from the stem just so it isn't touching and lets air get in there. I'd do this to all of the denser top buds, even all of them. It's a pain in the ass but so is throwing away half of your herb.
So to recap....get a few more fans, space your buds, check on your girls A LOT, and worry like a mother fucker.
That last part isn't really necessary but I know you're going to anyway.
Good luck homie.

Talked to the "master" at my local grow shop, says bho extraction will work to isolate the trichs from the mold, however dry ice will not...

Thankyou very much for the advise guys. I am going to have lots of airmovement and i am also going to my local nursery now and im going to pick up some natural fungicide

DAMMIT!

I hope your plant p[ulls through now you HAVE REMOVED ALL THE MOULD AFFECTED AREAS/BUDS..

I just had to do the same to a Sweet Melon i have in my Closet :cuss:
She was over 5ft tall with the longest/Fatest Cola i have ever grew, the cola was over a foot and half and had a bud girth of almost 3 inches.. I AM GRIEVING!

Now i like you have Half a plant with its bottom branches and bud sites up to where i decapitated her back to fresh stem and no signs of Mould..

Lesson learned.. when growing big FAT BUDS use stronger Intake/Outake Fans and keep airlow always moving.. Sucks i know but onwards and upwards..

Peace   :weed: :bigjoint:
