Mold issue

I'm currently growing a sour diesel plants and about 3 days ago I noticed a white powder on the leaves so I wiped it off and today I noticed it on more leaves.common sense tells me it's mold but I was looking for good cheap ways to get rid of it.any suggestions?

Hi there, had the same problem with powdery mold, i used this stuff called serenade and it works. spray it on thoroughly (NOT with the lights on like i did, it burnt the crap out of my plants)
Next day spray them with clean water (wipe the leaves if you can) keep in mind the mold will come back if your humidity is too high, especially if you are in flowering, humidity should be between 45 and 50 % (buying a dehumidifier is the best thing i ever did, 160 bucks well invested). Make sure your plants are not overlapping each other, thats another factor that will bring up humidity. Keep oscialting fans running and vent well. Keep in mind am a noob

Try putting a fan on them.you could also use h202 with water.look it up on google.

Serenade about 23 dollars. It will take out the mold but you need to lower relative humidity or it will come back.

Sounds like powdery mildew to me. it grows on the surface of the leaf where mold is usually inside a bud. The way it effects the plant is only that it blocks photosynthesis from happening other then that its harmless. One way way to get rid of it is with a couple treatments of high pH water like 8.0 Mildew needs the right pH to grow just like your plants do. Spray with high pH water then the next day spray it with pH 5.8 water. Do it again in a couple days. If you cant get to the plants, say in a cabinet or something, sulfur will kill it too. Burn the sulfur ans use a fan to get the smoke all through the grow.
