crap i'm not in the states. over here cops are not allowed to chase you except with a warrant. they cannot just go chasing a car for speeding or for not stopping when asked to. there were several incidents where people died in the chase when really they were only dumb scared kids with no liscence or other minor things. it's off subject but i think it sucks and against civil liberties to go chasing cars in the streets, and cops never pull you over, only place you are asked for driving liscence is if you encounter a roadblock and thats it. US is a strict police state imo
ya i hear ya man. i couldnt imagine it any other way tho. Seems like all i worry about when i go out now is cops...

they can't chase you without a warrent? thats awesome where do you live? i want to live there too
lol it's just that over here, it's a tiny lil place that if someone dies, it hits the news and the community gets angry lol i guess that's why they take more care not to kill someone by accident, it's bad for their rep! yes if there's an arrest warrant for you or your vehicle, they will chase you aggressively but only then. if you're speeding or fail to stop when asked to, they got these radars that can take the details of your car instantly and they let you go, then come knocking at your door lol it's not like i'm in disneyland just a smoother approach to apply the law.

I would go ahead and water cure that moldy bud. You are going to have to go through about a week of it though. My very first harvest of 10 ounces went to mold because I jarred too early and never let it air out properly after. I water cured the entire lot and I still have some today, jarred up and smokeable. In fact, in my opinion, it made the bud look better. Check out the pic below, the bud on left was water cured, the one on right is exact same strain, 2nd indoor harvest.

Many people will tell you NOT to smoke that weed, I on the other hand have actually experienced mold and have researched and found this cure for it. I've only had to do it one, and I hope to never HAVE to do it again. Also, mold spores cannot travel in smoke. The U.S. Government did a study due to concerns of the Congress that mold in tobacco could harm the smoking population. (mold in tobacco is VERY common) After 2 studies, it was determined that there was no additional health risk associated with inhaling smoke from tobacco with mold on it, other than the harmful effects of cigarettes themselves. Any doubters can Google away.

Anywho, water cure the bud and your mold is gone. Smoke will be smoother too, a lot smoother. The only reason I don't water cure on a reg basis is because it kills the bud's aroma. Taste, oddly enough is not affected as much, but the buds lose their wonderful aroma. This can be a good thing if you have to ship a package or pack a vehicle for a trip. I'm sure a trained dog might still pick up on it, just pack weed into center of car and never give permission for a search and you are golden. They won't smell it.

Boo-Yahhh! This is the reply ive been waiting for lol! I kno mold is bad and everything, but im thinking theres no way in hell im not gonna smoke this.
I've never heard of water curing, sounds like a long process though, but well worth it if it works. I wonder if you lose any trichomes during this process? Ill look into that though for sure. Thanks for the comment.

its ideal to have multiple fans going for the circulation and lots of ducting, you want the air to be exchanged at least 5 times every one minute. so take your rooms cubic feet and multiply that by 5, and thats the cfm number you can reference when you buy supplies.

The process uses room temp water. The resin is not water soluble, therefore, unless you manhandle or stir the buds with a stick, you are not going to lose trichomes. If the water was too cold, they could break off. If the water is too hot, the thc can be degraded. The process is simple enough. the same jars you used for air curing will work, make sure you wash and sanitize first.

i hung them to dry for 2 days, and also i didnt water them for over a week before i chopped so they were already getting kinda dry. Also i spotted some mold before i even chopped them, so obviously the mold was in there before i ever put them in the jars. Prob still a bad idea i put them in jars.

Ive dont my best to seperate the moldy buds from the good buds. I put the good buds in jars but ive been keeping the jars open, and ive been smoking the moldy bud :). I have to admit im not sure if i like the epilectic seisures it causes me, but moldy bud is better than no bud. LOL im jk, i have been smoking the moldy bud and all seems good, a little harsh, but not bad at all. Im afraid to continue curing the good buds in fear there might be some mold spores in there somwhere., so i guess the buds i plan to sell ill just let them stay in an open area, will prob lose some weight. Sux cause the smell isnt as strong when you keep the jars open, even when you put a bud to your nose, it doesnt really smell too stong, but if you break it in half, it smells sooo stong, wreaks so good
