Mold / Bud Rot / Spider mites?

Here's some picture. This is a cali mist lavender kush mix.
It looks so nice and was real close to the end of its cycle.

I was out of town the other week and had someone take care of my babies while I was gone, when I returned my room was like a rainforest.

Let me know what you think is going on. The problem I am seeing is there seems to be what looks like spider webs in areas of the nugs.

If it was mites, you would probably see evidence on or under the leaves before seeing them in the buds. I can't tell by the photos, but if that is indeed mold or" BOTRYTIS" its not good news, it's not healthy to smoke and can be hard to get rid of.

Thanks mate, I figured it was bad news so I took her out from the room as soon as I saw this. Unfortunate she was so damn pretty and just covered in resin

if you got others flowering its odds on they got it too, just had the same deal......

damn, I just meticulously looked over them all and this is the only one that has this going on... right now at least.
The strangest part of this all is that a few days before I noticed this substance I trimmed up all the fan leaves and other useless leaves getting her ready to be cut down in the next week or two. I think some of the resin or juices flowed out from the areas where I cut down bigger leaves and it's causing this.

I'll keep my eyes out for the other ones.. guess you live and learn

it can eat your cola from the inside out, i had a cheese with big fat cola started to lean like the leaning tower of pizza, turned out it was mush inside..

SPORES can be carried on your clothes shoes etc. and can survive in carpet fibers for several weeks. I learned this the hard way as I am in the ag. biz. I was the reason for multiple infestations. I would come home from work and the first thing I would do is check on my girls. Now I allways shower first. Breaking open a big, beutiful ,dense bud only to find mold is the very definition of disapointment. I really feel for you dude - or is it mate?

Looks like bud rot. Cut the infected areas, throw a dehumidifier in there and hope it doesn't spread.

Clipped up the plant and salvaged what I could thankfully the plant was real close to harvest time anyways and about 80% of the nugs are not showing any signs of damage.
I found this happening on another plant in the same room so I am planning on looking it over and seeing if anything is worth saving there.

I'll throw up some pics later to show the salvaged pieces and the damaged pieces

Sorry for your loss bud, glad you could salvage a lot of it. So how can this be prevented? Just make sure to keep your humidity low?If so, at what percentage range?

hahaha im lost about this wedding stuff - but yes measure to prevent bud rot:
- low humidity in your flowering chamber I think somewhere between 20 - 40% is optimal.
- get fans in there and have them oscillating over your flowers.
- Don't overwater too much. While I was out of town a friend make my chamber more like a rainforest with humidity levels of 80% or more.
- Also always monitor your ish, they are like babies very prone to disease and infections so clean urself up before you go around your ladies.

Anyways, thanks for the response and thread, definitely helpful. The girls look really good other than that little problem, but you seem like you got it isolated pretty well. Good luck on the rest!
