Molasses

My plants are in the 6 week of flowering and I wanted to give them something to give them a boost for size and possibly flavor.I have heard using molasses is good.I use Earth Juice.I was thinking about using the Earth Juice Catalyst. It has molasses in it along with other good stuff.Would this be better, worse,or not even necessary to use compared to using straight up molasses?Any other products or recs would be greatly appreciated.

I can't speak for Earth Juice, but I will vouch for Molasses. Of all the adjustments since I started growing, adding molasses has propduced the greatest benefit.

I use 1 tablespoon per gallon every 4th watering as soon as I start flowering.

Just make sure you get unsulphured mollassas, most are called blackstrap mollasas :) It gives the bud a sweet caramel taste and the plants seem to like it.

I hope you are growing in soil because I hear it is a Mess with hydro applications.

Yeah. I agree pretty much with the other posters. Use unsulphured molasses-- I'm pretty sure ordinary molasses from the grocery store is usually unsulphured. I just guesstimate a little over a half Tbs per gallon every other watering, sometimes twice in a row if they're going strong.

After I added molasses I got much better yield and a little more resin. I started noticing deficiencies in the basic nutes, which I attributed to improved uptake. The plants are hungrier for everything when they're on molasses.
